do you think rock is losing their flare?

I think yes, it ain't what it used to be in the 70's 80's and 90's
you had cool bands like Black Sabbath,GNR, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Iron maiden and others with true and inspirational music, do you think the generation of rock today!is slowly losing their parade, with crappy sissy songs? I think yes, what do you think? I blame the Jonas brothers and fall out boy

Lol yea, I think old music is usually better but of course...it's really hard to keep inventing new things...and to break new grounds since all the older bands did it already =.=. And anyways, things in the past are always better because people only remember the good bands there were horrible bands at that time too just no one ever talks about them.

Also, music industry was less profitable at that time, so less producers controlling artists. There are still good bands today like Radiohead and Oasis (though they kinda fit with the 90s era...) and I don't really listen to that much English music but if you like Asian music I will love to gie you recommendations but judging by the bands you like I think we have quite diverse music preferences. I basically don't like those bands you named, I think they were important just really not my cup of tea.

I think rock is simply just facing a new phase. Rock will always be rock, just changed to suit the generation of this time. I dont really know much bands from the 70's and the 80's so i wouldnt really know. >_> anyhoo, thats my opinion. But, i prefer modern rock. ^__^

If u mean new rock is losing its flare, then prolly yea. Havent rly herd any new good rock bands beside jrock ones. Its only pop and rap this generation seems like. Jb and fob = pop, calling them rock is shameful to rock music lolol
but if u say old rock, then old bands like the ones u stated are still highly popular. So rock in general isnt losing its flare

No, for some reason, I don't think its losing its flare..
Fall Out Boy does not have sissy songs in my opinion, have you ever thought of the lyrics in a different way?
One band from the 90's that I love is Jimmy Eat World. =)
