A broken heart, mid-life crisis, feeling jaded and cynical, insomnia, jet-lag, and sitting next to a fat snoring man in a flight. All at the same time.

It took almost a year or two till now to partially recover. Looking back I'm really grateful I didn't do anything stupid as a mean to escape all those troubles.

if you're 22 and think you went past MLC already, you're scaring me
wait till you get to 40 then

Having to follow my bf down to Alabama from New York City after dating for only 3 months. I realized he was moving away before I started seeing him. It wasn't until he was gone for just a week to handle some things down there that I figured out that it was going to be really difficult to break up. I had to leave everything behind. Family, friends, home, and everything familar for dedication to one guy.

In the beginning I missed home like crazy. But after coming home to visit during breaks from school, I realized I've already adjusted to my life style down south. And today, I don't regret a thing.

All I can say is follow your heart and live life. Hey, you only get to live once. Live, Love and Laugh.

wow. that IS difficult. you had to give up everything, but you didn't have any regrets. well, good for you. you chose the right path. ^^

Thank you.

wow thats inspiring....sometimes we're so scared of change and of things that might happen that we dont take the chance and we might let something wonderful go....

my biggest challenge was not regressing into the bad habit of self-mutilation....i needed to learn that not only was i hurting myself but others as well...it was really hard cuz so many times there was the temptation of doing it again, i would cry holding what i would use to cut and tell myself it wasnt worth it....and it wasnt...it was hard but i havent done it in over 4 months....so im proud to say that i;ve accomplished something even if it sounds small...it was big to me

Congrats! I hope you can keep it up.
