The Fujibayashi and Hiiragi Twins

Im sure that all the people who have seen clannad and Lucky star know what im about to ask: Why do the fujibayashi and hiiragi Twins look THE SAME?

Well, if you have just finished watching Clannad or lucky star, once you start watching lucky star or clannad, the first thing that might really mess you up, is the fact that the twins in each are the same. You may be asking, 'Maybe it's just a coinky-dink, because twins like these sets are very commen in anime!'
I don't know about you, but i've looked into this a little bit, and thi statment [correct me if im wronge] is FALSE.
So, why DO these twins look the same? here is the investigation:

1. Lucky star was done before Clannad, and remmeber, Clannad pushed back our Haruhi second season [if there is one]

2. You could easily presume that Clannad is ripping-off Lucky star, but that may not be the case. You see, Clannad was first a videogame, then came the manga and light novels and stuff.

3. Lucky Star was first a four-paneled manga.



4. Nothing is really ever mentioned on this topic, so this question will probably never be answered.

5. But, there IS this picture...

At first glance, you may think 'Oh, Tsukasa and Kagami.' thats right.
If you look again and see there cloths, 'Wait, its Kyou and Ryou.' Right again.
Is this proof or waht?!

But....

6.We still don't know if there realated, or how both those animations have the sam characters.

If you have any information, please say so! It will help in this investigation!

character and style i think just that kagami and kyou has diff hair style

Lols . I was watching those two anime altly , and was thinking the same . Same hair colour , hair styles almost similar , and character too ;o

ok the only difference i see between them is kyou can cook good while ryou cant(poor botan), and tsukasa can cook while kagami cant but i thinks that the only difference

i watched closely n they REALLY looked alike... bt there still r some differences between them...

well for the looks they really are a like specially how the eyes are the same..... also with the color of the hair but... they are different when it comes in some studying traits.. in clannad kyou is the just doing so so in her studies while in lucky star kagami is doing good.... well when it comes to tsukasa and ryou they are bought class representatives ahahaha....

Actually it was how similar Kyou was to Kagami that made me watch Clannad.

yeah I've been wondering about it for a while and stumbled on this, yea both looked the same and the characteristics of the two pairs are almost the same, but you can point out a lot of differences between them like for the studying hobbit, chores skills and how they bully people and as for Kyou she's far more violent than Kagami (I've never seen Kagami kicking someone or throwing dictionaries to someone's face, or maybe its just because there is no such person as Sunohara in Lucky Star )

I was thinking the same thing.Tsukasa and Kagami kind of look like Kyou and Ryou. Kagami and Kyou even have the same personality while Tsukasa and Ryou not that much
