The new Slayers?

Oh man! Is that her in the opening??? O.O They sure changed her hair.... I wonder.

The artwork is great...but that little fuzzy thing...I don't really know about it yet lol...are we really going to see Lina's sister, and I wonder if Zel is ever going to find a cure...

It's true it has been a long time since this anime has begun since the early 1990's. Many anime have most computer made elements to it then the older anime. It would be like someone doing one more season of Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z, drawing is different now. I think the intent was to make the colors more vibrant in this series and the lines for the drawings are sharper. As far as different goes, I'll admit that I'm not a big fan of the digimon character but to me as long as Lina didn't change her attitude that's all I care about. To me the character's personalities have stayed pretty true to the older counterparts and I am just happy there is another series.

LOL, well after episode 5, we all know that the red head is not Luna. ^_^. I thought it was her too, because of the waitress/maid dress, and that's how she always appears. But then it'd be like, hey they're showing her face way too easily.

Anyway, I have to say I love slayers enough to love the modernized version. However, I do hope that they speed things along a little more. They do seem a little more chatty. and dare I say, tame. But I think it's because Lina and her group lacked true direction (kinda like in Slayers TRY).

So now that Xellos has reappeared as the [Spoiler!], things, I think, will probably start to pick up., oh but It would be cool if Luna did show up.... but then again, she's like that unseen threat. She might overshadow Lina if she did appear. According to the novels, she's pretty fierce.

how to rate this one?? thumbs up.. rezo's legacy still lives on since season 1...

I consider season 1 the best season made. We will see how will the 4th one go, actually i am curious about this Rezo spell he used in Taforashia.

Oh I cant wait to watch this, i watched this series so many years ago, i used to listen to their old opening songs all the time .
