If you always keep anger inside all the time, it will slowly build up and consume you! You need to let it out once in a while. Not physically of course by harming yourself or someone else, but by talking about it. It's the best way to deal with things that frustrate the hell out of you. Well that's what I think anyways.

i agree with hafsab, however i don't think talking the anger out of one's system is effective, maybe doing something physical like working out or riding your bike would be better

let's see, what can I say bout anger?.. Well, from my point of view, it the feeling that you want something to be different cuz you don't like it (for whatever reason) and you're so desperate to change it you're ready to do things you'd not do normally.
If you keep it inside, if nothing changes the way you want it then it builds up and eventually somes out a lot worse.
My way of controling my anger is irony and jokes, or sometimes I just start imagining some really, REALLY overreacted retribution (like having goldly powers and beating the crap out of whoever's making me feel angry)
Sometimes I get angry playing a caomputer game cuz I keep getting beaten, but then I imagine some funny videos of guys who got mad playing somputer games and threw their screen out the window, and it makes me laugh thinking I may look like them.

Anger should be kept bottled up inside. If you just keep your emotions inside nothing bad can happen. Just ask my man Cho.

Well, anger is just another emotion. The reason it has so much effects on people is because it releases adrenaline into the system. This clouds your judgment. Whatever the case, people do need somewhere to vent anger. It’s unhealthy to keep it inside.

However, vent it in a safe manor! Don’t go shooting people please! Rage is no excuse for murder. Religiously I would say that anger is a demon. Secularly I would say it is something we’ve developed as an instinct through the evolutionary chain.

Do people develop anger for no reason? -- I always had a view that it is an emotional reaction to something and I agree with mzxaznangel's point about hate. I think it starts with 'hate' even to a small degree and then when it intensifies, it becomes anger.

Hate seems like a strong word so maybe something like 'disagreement' might be something simplier.

I don't think anger always has hate in it. Sometimes its just how you react when your emotional confused. You don’t know what to feel so you go into a fit of rage. Same can be said for sorrow. In fact, the same can be said for almost any emotion but joy.

Usually, however, I do agree with the intensified hate theory.
