Since the last topic was locked and deleted by a heavy handed mod, who obiviously neither understood or cared about the problem and this is not a bug I think it deserves a new post here.

Quite simply some time between around 11:00pm last night and roughly 10:50am today (gmt) both the old and the new video players have obviously been updated and are now incompatable with the wii's internet browser.

I do not see why this update was necessary, why it aplies to the old player as well (which I assume was left in to avoid compatability issues with some browsers) and why this update was snuck in without so much as a post in the news section.

I have gone through all the usual steps (reseting, rebooting, clearing cookies, checking if other sites with videos work) to make sure it isn't an individual fault with my wii and I am certain it is a compatability error cause by an update to the video players.

If any other wii users could verify this or the person responsable for the video players could give some input on this problem it would be much apreciated.
