Besides, if I was in your shoes, I would be thinking, "Bad as it is, at least the 4Kids Pokemon is better than Pokemon USA's." No donuts ;D Mmm... Donuts...

Some examples... in yu-gi-oh they replaced guns with the characters just pointing their fingers at eachother... somehow that was supposed to be threatening... Oh, another in pokemon, they replaced an onigiri with a sandwhich rolling down a hill. They just pretty much slaughter poor inocent animes. I wish sub versions were offered on regular tv too...

Not only that the anime that they licensed loses it aesthetic value but also edited anything that is non-American or anything that is considered "harmful" to the young viewers of America. Anime itself is an art and like any other artwork, it must not be altered or deviate from the original concept of the creator. The majority of the anime fans share the same sentiments toward the American publishing house as this picture:
