I was singing “Seaside Bye Bye” with Okada-kun, on the same stage, and subsequently became a backdancer, together with Kanjani 8, behind V6 when it became their turn to sing. When I was practicing in the dressing room, I remembered all the dance steps and was totally in tune with the rhythm as well. In the middle of my rehearsal, Inohara-kun also joined us and the choreography was perfected. Then, during the actual performance, Nagase-kun put his hands on my shoulder, and when I realized that he did that, I totally forgot the steps. (laughs). After that, Kanjani came over to us and said “You guys totally couldn’t do the choreography!” So I apologized “Sorry! I couldn’t keep with the flow of the music and the rhythm…” I have been together with Yokoyama, Murakami and Subaru since we were juniors, so it was enjoyable when we were doing the choreography together. During the new year, my whole family went off to the countryside, so there weren’t anyone at home, so in the end I got my friends over and we played games and had a meal, in the end, there was a party of about 15 people in my house. (laughs) This is the first time I had such a party during the new year. The New Year concerts were also enjoyable. It was great that we could perform the concerts that we did overseas for the fans in Japan. I was happy that everyone gave us a warm welcome. After the Osaka concerts, I had to go and do News Zero and then I said “I’m going off to News Zero,” and when I got off the stage, all the members sent me off with a hearty “Itte rashai” (have a save journey!) I thought “Eh!! It is like my girlfriend or wife sending me off!” (laughs) I felt that kind of warmth being brought across. When we did the concert at Osaka Hall, MatsuJun brought along the video of Hanadan and watched it with the members. The moment the main theme song “Love so Sweet” came on, everyone clapped with great enthusiasm. (laughs) “ Ah, here it is!! Matsumoto-san, Thank you very much!!” (laughs). After the concerts were over, I got a bit of time off, So I took it easy. Well, there was a day where I didn’t do anything at all. I slept until evening, and then when my younger brother got back, I played games and watched DVDs with him. There are occasional relaxing days when I can say, “Today I did not do a single thing”. Well, last year, I worked my ass off, and therefore, now is a time for me to positively refresh and recharge myself. (laughs) Mentally, I think I am just like the common man, not too indulging or harsh with myself. But to other people, I am very indulging. I really look after my friends. (laughs). I will go over to their house, send them to the train station, well more so than indulging, can u say that it is kindness? That I look after them a lot? Probably both (laughs). In the entertainment world, there are many people who will say sweet words to you and you are presented with many temptations there is temptation…. There are many situations where you will find yourself in a situation where “sweet” situations that are tempting and it is better that you brace yourself for such situations. Also, I had the harsh experience of going through skydiving which was pretty scary and though these, I became stronger and able to withstand these situations. When I see you[sho] I think “Ah, now I’ve come to life!” Honestly, you’re so cool, I’m shy around you. Nino: The Yamada family’s brothers and sisters have it easy. Taro (Played by Ninomiya) has to take care of them all. He has to work seriously a lot. Since he’s at the age where he just wants to play…(Sympathy) Sakurai: Because of that, I’m like an old man who does nothing. Ninomiya: 'Nekketsu Ren-aidoh' 15-minute mini drama we used to do on Sunday afternoon ages ago, the episode in which Sho-chan became a Xmas tree himself. Aiba: 'Bambi in Cats!!' I like that drama cos it's funky. Ohno: 'West Side Story' It was very good. Matsumoto: 'Bambi in Kisarazu Cats'. No, 'Taiyo sensei in Yoiko no Mikata'. 2 What do you think is Sho's most selling point as an actor? Ninomiya: 'A power' of security. Aiba: Showing his intellectualness on his face makes a good impression. His kooky persuasiveness. Ohno: Acting free of mannerisms. Matsumoto: He makes even weird roles agreeable when he does acting. 3 If you were a producer, what kind of role in what kind of work would you want him to play? Aiba: Don't pluck hairs on your legs and give them to me. It's pretty much annoying. ^_^ Ohno: His face just after wake up. Matsumoto: He eats a lot. After I finish eating, I feel sick by watching him eating. 7 What has he changed most since made debut? Ninomiya: The way he sees things. Aiba: Although not many people might know, he had been wearing a tengallon hat for three months or so since made our debut, which reminds me of either him or Nagare Hagiwara whenever I see cowboy hats. Ohno: His rap. Matsumoto: I think the quality of his rap has changed, which I personally think became softer. 8 If you express Sho in colour, what colour would he be? and why? Ninomiya: Various. Aiba: Perhaps red... This question is too hard. Ohno: Red because his costume's always been red since debut. Matsumoto: Either white or red, which came up to my mind separately, but not pink.

They talked about it in an MC at one of their concerts once. Apparently Aiba had to calm him down when they were waiting for food once. To make it worse Aiba's food got there and Sho's never showed up so he got really mad!!! But Sho completly denied that he got mad! Lol!

While I was driving, there is ARASHI at the "au" shop and when driving by "TOYOTA" I see myself there. (Laugh) I never payed attention to my face particulary. Sometime looking at the magazines that I was in and think "I don't like (photo's of) this face" But whether I like it or not, I'll say I like it.(Laugh) I will be denying my parents if I say I don't like it. I think my face has changed compared to when I was little. Because I was so adorable back then. (Laugh) I was told "It's Johnny's Jr." by a stranger when I was in junior high. But that time I was not even a Jr., but because of my face impression, people mistake it. Now think about it, I think my cuteness was peak in the junior high.(Laugh) Those things happend quite often, and my friends were laughing so hard and saying "Why don't you send your resume" And that how I am here today. But I had a problem being told that "You're cute" back then. There is a ShabuShabu restaurant which my family goes to often, and they will give a sweet for children, since my face was childlike so they gave to me even I was in the junior high. I didn't like that. (Laugh) For past few years, I think seems like my face became more round. It said that the way of your life shows on your face, I think that's right. I won't become this face if I didn't have this job. Doing news and becoming a caster for Beijing Olympic, I think they let me do those because I'm an idol, Sakurai Sho kun of ARASHI. My face is the image and shows the life style, I hope I will have its grows with many great experiences. I'm a type to show the feelings very much. When I lied and my eyes swim, my Okan (mother) caught it and I was scolded so much. I can tell Matsujun's mood immediately.(Laugh) However, that is Matsujun so I do not think it is unpleasant at all. I can feel fun things the most from Aiba chan. ......face, that reminds me, Since my image of skydiving from "Odoroki no ARASHI" is hideous, please do not show it any more.
