They should throw a s2000 into here An ae86 would get smoked hahaha As for gtr supra, evo, and sti... ahaha the ricers dream cars. I mean yeah they are all pretty beast but common really now? Its like when you talk to kids who think they know bout cars theyll talk about supras, gtrs, evos, sti, intake, exhaust, coilovers (maybe) but when you bring up camber they stop dead in their tracks like... what?

R34 is awesome. It's rare to see one in the wangan nowadays, though!

You should see where I race. The damn things are like Cochroaches. They are EVERYWHERE, and always in Black too.

The RX-7 FD is a good car. Excellent handling, small, light, nimble and not over used.

I beat Ricelines with My RX-7 often.

Infact... I beat anyone who challanged me today.

Stupid Riceline.

Depends on which R you went against. Also that it even depends on the parameters of both cars. You can't necessarily judge based on victories.
Although what I find funny is that the people you went against mustn't be really bright with the R. It's overused because it's good. The FD can kick its fair share of asses. But I'll stick with my Supra mostly because I'm a Toyota fan. Always liked the Supra RZ especially, though.
If you went against a real good R user, it'd be hard to overtake them in places like Osaka, C1, or Yokohane. But if you really want an annoying car, the Evo VIII is just as overused if not worse.

I'm not saying it's not good car. It just the idiots that drive them.. I think this epidemic started when 2 Fast 2 Furious came out... Or maybe even earlier... yes it's a good car. And yes... based on the Arcade game the Skyline is one of the best cars in the game.... It's just the sheer amount of idiots that race them that annoy me....

Maybe I'm coming across as a egotistical wanker.... But even you guys have to admit... and not just in Wangan, but in any other game. The idiots that use the 'coolest' or most powerful weapon/car/spell/monster/class/pet/coffee cup holder, and think they are awesome. It's kinda sad really.

Speaking of roaches, did they cut you so bad you gonna wish they didn't cut you so bad because you went on their turf?

Like I said in my previous post. I beat everyone I played that day. I do know some Riceline drivers that know how to use there cars. It just the majority that try to show off by doing 780HP on the C1 or 820HP on Hakone that annoy the crap out of me.

It could also be where I race too. Where you race SkylinePressure, RX-7's could be an over used car.

And no they didn't cut me... they where challanging me untill I beat them all back. Although I have to give kudos to the one dude who was racing a incomplete 350Z. He was easily better then half of the idiots I raced that day.

.... doing 820 is plain stupid on Hakone. At MOST I went 800.
Urg. You make a hell of a point, though. It's the opponent that really counts.
But anyways. It's good to see that you get what I said, though.

Amen to that.

Anyway.. it depends on the track I guess... I'd say the AE'86 would be better for tight technial track due to it's light weight and small size. On the highways though, the Supra would win being a V6 and all.

BTW, why the hell didn't anyone put RX-7 in this list... FOR SHAME!

Rotaries kick major ass though.... A small light weight engine capable of generating as much power as a V6 in some cases. The car itself is also light. Hence it would handle something like the C1 much better then a Supra would....

SkylinePressure... DO you visit any fourms or what not for WMMT 3? You seem to know what your talking about when it comes to the Arcade game...

AND WHEN THE HELL IS THE NEXT ANIME UPDATE COMING OUT!

I actually don't. I happen to study how people play at least months before I play. Thanks for the compliments, though.
Honestly, I prefer watching over playing most of the time because I can learn styles and weaknesses of my opponents. Judging by frequency of visits to certain streets of the WMMT, I can also tell how they can drive. From what I have gathered, Osaka is popular.
But my preference is Hakone hands down. Fun and it allows for certain comebacks during close races.
Oh, and on the subject of Rotaries, I would so buy a Rotary Engine car over a Subaru. Especially a RED R2! I swear, it's the POWDER BLUE PRIUS of WMMT.

Say what kind of turbine/ECU/or even what brand of either. That kills them for sure. How do I know. I'm like a deer in the headlights. I'm not THAT intelligent on cars, but I know more than most ricers. I would like to have an S2000 someday, mostly because it'll be easy to modify. Some modifications to its handling, ergo a reinforced body, coilovers and some new brakes should do it some good unless I want to modify its speed. Which I really wouldn't because the S2000 is a corner car. If I wanted it to slap the AE86 in the face, then yeah. A bit of speed, maybe add in an exhaust and bigger turbine... if it fits.

I had a 86 prelude, and my friend had an 1986 toyota corolla GTS, after highschool. We used to race alot, because our cars where supposed to be in the same class. In all out drags we where pretty much even. And even though they feel like they go fast both cars where pretty slow off the take off. The GTS cornering was amazing.
I decided i wanted to get a better car at the time, so i test drove an 1989 Supra mark 3. I can tell you after being in my friends GTS. The Supra can blow it's doors off!!!!, Fantastic smooth acceleration, incredible cornering. With the electronically controlled suspension. And easy to upgrade too!! I believe they where even banned from lemans because the suspension was considered an unfair advantage.
I only wish i could have afforded the insurrance at the time lol

It was a 1989, 3rd gen. with a 3 liter turbo and a pop out roof.
At the time my insurance on my prelude was $150 a month. Because of the turbo and I would have to put full collision on, it would have cost me $400 a month to insure the Supra.. Plus the payments lol
