"Show Luo Calls Chun Wu Zun "Baby" - Gets Harassed by Jerry Yan While Filming",
Monday July 28,2008 Taiwan

Jerry Yan not only stole the spotlight away from Show Lo at the "Hot Shot" premiere event, but also harassed him in private. In a scene where the two have a ball combat, the basketball in Jerry Yan has no eyes, and directly hit Show's "private area," hurting him so badly that he couldn't speak. There was also one part where the cameras had missed, where Jerry was happily playing a game of tackling privates.

CTV and GTV's "HOT SHOT" held a first autograph session at Taipei's Dazhi. This time Jerry was really missing, Show then very obviously became the main event. Some fans also present him with a birthday cake, to celebrate his birthday early. But Show never failed to forget to tell the media to also focus on Chun Wu. When there were people that said Chun was just a "cameo" coming along with the promotions, Show hurried to come out and clarify, "He [referring to Chun] isn't just a cameo, he always appear in the most important events.

Show and Chun have become super close, and even called him "baby." Show said, Chun and himself have both played Liang Shan Bo, so they're really destined. GTV has a habit of lay bets on TV ratings. Yesterday, before they reached the autographing venue, even the actors themselves laid down bets, but when Show was asked how much he had bet, he stepped aside and didn't answer, but his baby came out and answered for them, "The number is the same as our airing time." Turns out it was 9.3, as for Chun himself, he laughed and said it has something to do with the Olympics and father's day, the answer: 8.8. Their competition 'Fated To Love You' has already broke 12.

Yesterday, while Show was autographing, to his left was a mirror, so he could see if himself whenever he wanted to. As for questions regarding Jerry Yan, he carefully answered, to prevent the media from making up stuff again. At the premiere event, he had tripped and fell, the media had written that when Jerry suddenly showed up, Show had felt upset, and had a stern face. Yesterday, he clarified again that it had nothing to do with Jerry's showing up, he just felt it was really embarrassing to have fallen over at such a big event.

"Hot Shot" celebrates success of first episode,
Friday August 1 2008, Taiwan

source: UDN
translated by: [email protected]

Idol drama “Hot Shot” set a new record with the ratings of the first episode. The average rating was 2.79, which is higher than the 2.56 rating of the first episode of “Fated to Love You”.

Yesterday (07/31), the cast celebrated the success of the first episode. Main lead Show Luo, who just returned after celebrating his birthday in Hong Kong, also attended the celebration. Show said that when he was in Hong Kong, there were already many fans asking when “Hot Shot” will air in Hong Kong. This made him feel very happy. Show promised on paper that if ratings break 8, he will blow horns with Zhou Cai Shi, if ratings break 9, Coco and George will jet bounce (?), and if ratings break 10, he and Wu Zun will strip naked.

At the celebration, Show had a parrot and it was very obedient, while standing on Show’s hand and letting everyone take photos. Initially, Show was very nervous about embarrassing himself again, but luckily, the parrot was very obedient. He also hoped that the parrot would leave some “gold” on his hand, bringing good luck.

GTV said that initially, the celebration was going to be held on Tuesday and when they informed Jerry, he did not have time to attend. Later, when the date changed to Thursday, they did not inform him. Jerry’s manager expressed, “GTV probably thought that our schedule is very busy lately, so did not especially inform us, however Jerry is very happy with the ratings of the first episode.”
Wu Zun, also could not attend the celebration as he is currently in Korea promoting “Romantic Princess”. However, Show especially phoned him to share the good news. Although Wu Zun could not personally come to celebrate with them, when he heard the good news, he was also very excited.

In the drama, there are many sad scenes. Female Lead Zhou Cai Shi said that she admires Show’s crying skills, saying that he is male version of Liu Xue Hua. She said that Show can cry whenever he wants to, very easily, and can cry with just one eye. Show replied proudly, “When I am filming crying scene, I just need to think of the plot in which I’m acting, and I can very quickly put myself into the situation." When asked who is the hottest of the 3 guys, Show replied, “Jerry is the serious kind of hot, Wu Zun is white and hot, while I am black and hot.”

“Hot Shot” will air episode one again on Sunday at 8pm, and then episode 2 will follow after that. Fans should be happy that they can see 2 episodes in one night!

"Hot Shot Code (OST) (CD+DVD) Release Aug. 08",
Tuesday Aug 6, 2008 Taiwan

With three of Taiwan's top idols holding court, Hot Shot is hands down the most highly anticipated idol drama of the season! Fahrenheit's Wu Chun, F4's Jerry Yan, and Show Luo go head to head on the basketball court in this exciting youth sports and romance drama. What happens when a bumbling country boy with basketball dreams and the country's two top college players end up on the same ragtag college team? With Wu Chun being a former member of the Brunei national team and Jerry and Show known to be basketball enthusiasts, the hot-blooded idols set fire to the screen with their basketball skills as on-court rivalries continue off court when Tracy Zhou comes into the picture. George Hu (Romantic Princess) and Michael Chang (The Outsiders) round off Hot Shot's dream team cast.

Although Hot Shot Code OST does not include Show Luo and Jerry Yan's opening and end themes, the album is still an essential release for fans of the drama. Rapper Nese's rallying insert song U got me throws the ball in the air with loud notes and energetic rhymes, while singer-songwriter Adrian Fu, sweet-voiced Freya Lin, and other talented artists bring it hard to the net under the direction of award-winning producer Jim Lee.
