That some of you really mentioned One piece, Bleach and Naruto.... the 3 with the most simple storylines.

I know it sounds typical, but i love Naruto's. It has no obvious end point unlike some manga where the story progresses to one definitive goal. On top of this! The story line development is so well integrated that i think he may have wrote the story backwards. During Naruto conversations there is always so much to discuss such as who would win it etc. and there are so many spin off potentials (which i pray to God happen) because each character has an advanced background and reason behind their conviction! Fuuuuuuuuuurthermore the moral principles aren't childish or just to do with "I need to be the strongest" or "I want to destroy the world" which I always thought was stupid because what would the villain do then? :/

BTW! I'm currently doing a degree in Marketing and advertising and desperately need manga readers to fill out my questionnaire! It's short, I promise please help a guy out! Love you guys! Link:

Death Note is the best anime, overall, that I've watched so far. The plot and character development was phenomenal, I don't know why but I found the idea of a "book of death" to be intriguing. What would you do if you found a book like that? The way Light's character was presented was genius; but of course my favorite anime character of all time, L, is the crown jewel of the series. L was basically the Japanese, more odd version of, Sherlock Holmes. And he pulled it off well; his keen intellect was incomparable and he was ultimately the protagonist's downfall. For all of these reasons, I love this anime/manga, and feel that it had the best plot!

I would say Fate/Zero

Even though the show has a lot of things in it that I usually don't like, it does everything so perfectly well, that I've come to admire almost all that it has to offer

Eternal Sabbath (ES)

btw..not to start a fight but Naruto is NOT in anyway simple. The beauty of Naruto...it can appear to be a very simplistic story, and it's easy to dismiss. A lot of the "complexity" goes unnoticed by some.

If you're talking about best plot in a shounen, then Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood takes the cake. If it's overall, then to name a few, I found Madoka to be great (even though it was short), and also Higurashi turned out to be very well made.

Monster was highly intellectual that it could go to become live action and earn grammies and oscars its between that and Ghost in the Shell series it defined the Sci-fi genre and captivated its viewers with dialogue with action as a side effect. this says it all

Oh yah umm Naruto's storyline is all about delivery and the relatibility it has to the viewer not about the complexity that what makes it so great to watch the things in life alot of us take in life for granted or the things we may be going through just a like a character like naruto no friends, orphan, acting out in class, working hard and being acknowledged by your achievements look at Lebron James everyone hated him now he worked had for his ring errrboddy on his Banwagon lol

The first thing that came to mind after reading the topic title was One Piece, and ironically it's also the OP's first choice as well.

One Piece is an absolutely captivating manga. Not only does it show that there are both good AND bad people in any profession (ie. pirate or navy), it never fails to be inspirational to the younger audience. The plot can be divided into arcs, and granted that some of the arcs may not be as interesting as others, the story as a whole flows extremely well. Main characters are constantly being developed, new characters are introduced each arc and as the story progresses, many will have to say their goodbyes. However, even with the high number of characters that are introduced, important characters in the past will always be mentioned and may even have a part in the future story arcs, and not forgotten unlike a lot of other manga out there. The story is truly an ADVENTURE and one of the best there is.

Also with One Piece being one of the highest selling manga out there right now, and one of the highest grossing movies, I'm sure others would agree with me too.
