Friday the 16th of March is Comic relief day, where annually we put on our red noses, possibly with a long poking tongue, or a funky hairstyle to it, and watch celebrities parody others and themselves to raise money for people out in Africa, and raise popularity for themselves.

But do you really know why you're donating money? Do you know what you're donating money for?

What are you going to do to raise money?

Dye your hair red? Shave it all off?!
Not talk for a day?
Do a swimathon? A Marathon?

My Brother is Starving himself for a week, and he's drinking nothing but water that he has to carry and walk for 6 miles before he can drink it. He's doing it to truly understand what people less fortunate than us have to go through just to survive each day.

To see what he's doing, and to check up on his progress
Go to:Google Videos
Type into the Search bar: David Cheval DET
And Choose: David Goes Hungry Diary Fri 23 Feb
and follow him through his self-inflicted ordeal.

What will you be doing for Comic Relief? Dressing up?

I think I'm going to dress up and dance while teaching the little kids to swim, on poolside ^_^ It'll be hard, because it gets really hot on poolside, and the kids splash us, and I don't want to ruin any costumes I have...

You should sponsor my brother ^_^

I already raise a lot of money for 2 charities with a group at my school, but I'll probably do something for this as well.

I think it's a UK based annual fund raising event, but it's always good to involve everybody in these things. Even if you live in America, or somewhere in Asia, you could always gander at our bizarre antics.

Day 2 of David goes hungry!

we don't need to hear about how your brother is killing himself because he isn't funny.

I think it is mainly a UK thing from the looks of it I had heard of it before but really didn't know what it was.
