Hey all!
I've been looking into a few things, and have figured out some information you might already know or be interested in! (they're just basically things that can make one's life a bit more cruelty-free )1. Vegetarianism or Veganism (the obvious bit) 2. Boycotting some places like pet stores or KFC and such (to avoid supporting pet mills and cruel treatment) 3. If you are the type (like I was for a long time) who was just raised in a meat-eating household where it's kinda impractical to become vegetarian right away, then support your family in purchasing kosher. As a religious rule, the jewish people believe that cruel treatment of animals also creates impure meat; therefore they must treat the creature with respect and a healthy surrounding until the time comes where they then make sure the animal has a quick death and MUST not suffer. I mean, I know it is still upsetting when an animal has to die, but I figure it's still much better than supporting the living situation of commercial lifestock (like the one's in the video )I really hope this helps! |

Ah thank you! I know that living in a household filled with meat eaters is hard, I was a vegeterian for a year before my family started. But I understand completly. You're right. Even by simply boycotting meat or places that conform to these ways, can aid in the protest. |
