Lock if duplicate.

I just want to know what movies or drama taught you an important value or make you realize something important in life.

For example from 200 Pound beauty I learned that one can't depend on your appearance all the time. I realized that current society is such that we judge people by their weight and not what's inside. Or maybe from Hana Yori Dango/ Meteor Garden that money is not everything ^_^ Idk, something like that.

Tell me if there's any meaningful movies or drama that taught you something.

I think Eternity: A Chinese Ghost Story
has valuable lessons on a mother's love.

In the drama, it showed how the people
in there are moved by their mother's love
and how effective a mother's love can be.

Shows us that we should appreciate our mother's
love and what they do to protect us.

Legend of the Condor Heroes -dumb people can be smart, too! The greatest hero is one that cares for his people; the greatest love is love of all humans.

Young Warriors of the Yang Clan - If you're honorable, you'll always win in the eyes of the people, even if you lose. If you win dishonorably, you're always a loser.

Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber - There is a thin line between good and evil. Ends don't justify means.

Semi-Gods and Demi-Devils (or Demons) - A person's worth isn't based on nationality, but the goodness in their hearts.

for me, the korean drama Thank you was an eye opener on how people with Aids aren't any differant from us. actually they're braver than us, fighting for their lives. also the drama showed that to simply be there for someone says a lot on the kind of person you are.

one litre's of tears..hmmmm where should i start?? well that drama taught me to appreciate the simplest of things, as walking and talking, and cherish the life you're given.

and the japanese drama nobuto wo produce taught me about friendship and how you can change.

that's about it.

GOKUSEN is one of my favorites! Yankumi seriously rocks teaching moral lessons, even though she's in mathematics

Kimi wa pet--A brilliant manga turned into drama of a woman who comes to learn that though you may be an "elite" (as she's referred to by all her co-workers), at times, you're bound to need someone to show your true self to. Matsumoto Jun is in this one!

Gokusen--My gosh, what lesson wasn't taught at school? The drama follows a "dorky" teacher who's also the next yakuza heir. Through dealing with the personal problems of her students, and trying to be victorious in her own love life, this one's bound to keep you laughing and elevated.

My Boss, My Hero--Hilarious!!!!!!! Be prepared to witness extreme baka-ness, extreme loyalty, and extreme dedication!

Nodame Cantable--Purely wonderful classical pieces! Chiaki (main character) eventually fulfills his dream of becoming a conductor. In the process, he overcomes many obstacles, meets talented musicians, and comes to understand the true role of a conductor. Breathtakingly HOT men! And Nodame is just too adorable!

schoool dramas, such as
Dragon Zakura (the one im watching rite now!)
it inspires you to work harder academically, even if you're not that smart. and to have goals in life =)

[p.s. even ISWAK motivated me to study more, since the main girl tries so hard!]
