why do you guys doesnt believe there WILL be a third?
i mean, the anime cant left it just like that. plus, the novel is still ongoing. so the MUST be a third.
and most probably be the last season me thinks. any longer will be a total drag.
Shuurei better be married to Ryuuki, or at least married to SOMEONE. i've been watching the all episodes just to see it happen >_<

The best ending of Saiunkoku Monogatari should be Ryuuki and Shuurei are married to each other!!!

I have watched the anime without sub but I can make out few stuffs and I have read the reviews. From what I know, they have to make the 3rd season because of the way stories have ended in 2nd season.

There's a third season i didnt know, well i heard of it but i thought it was a rumour and nothing else...but i cant wait to see it!! hopefully in the end shuurei gets togther with ryuuki

i dont know if it's true there'll be season 3, but it has to come!! so many unfinished things is from season 2.

1. hyou riou (the little one) promise shuurei that one day he will tell his real name and the truth
2. it's said jyuusan hime will be the head of lady in waiting to replace shusui. i wonder how she'll be doing. i see at the ending of last ep she seems comanding ladies to decorating her rooms
3. we dont know if ryuuki will marry shuurei or not!!!
4. the incident with hyou ruka (the witch from the hyou clan) still totally not finish yet
5. the whole truth about shuurei's mother is still unclear, shuurei still doesnt know anything.
....
i cany think anymore reason anyone know more??

This series is based on a novel which the series has caught up to. The novel will need to get further ahead before the anime can continue.

So far S1 and S2 has covered the main plots. Only a few side stories were left out. Don't know if they will do this while waiting for a S3. On that matter I've not heard of any news for a start of S3 either.

I sure hope there is gonna be a season 3.
