Well..to start off with i personally think that real live tennis is a bit more entertaining than Prince of Tennis - depending on whose playing. I AM NOT SAYING THAT PRINCE OF TENNIS IS NOT GOOD OR ANTHING!!!
Anime tennis' results are often quite predictable that the man charater(s) will win the mach whereas live tennis is never predictable - like when Federer played against Nadal in Winbledon (can't spell sorry!). But the anime is - i must admit - very good with all the super and unique shots they made up lol...but i the end...i'll prefer watching the live tv matches!! (especially watching Federer!! YAY!!! go him!!)

What do u all think??? TV or anime??

Mah na, personally I'm more fond of the anime tennis. True in the end Seigaku will end up winning no matter what But you gotta admit, it in-between stuff is NICE Also, it's a lot easier to swallow when there's always someone there to explain the hows and whys to clueless people (like me) rather than confusing myself trying to figure stuff out. Also, real tennis doesn't come with free flashbacks and side stories for all to see.

Watching real tennis (especially between people who're on roughly the same level) is awesome and (if your friend's the on that's playing) rather stressful (in a good way), but I find myself occasionally missing the blurry yellow line that traces the path of the ball, the cool unatural backgrounds, and the set catch phrases that people liek to make fun of. Plus, I'm still a beginner so I can't really tell the difference between something really amazing and something that's not exactly in the same league as Zero-Shiki If you know what I mean.

Still I see your point.

Yh.. the anime does get quite funny and i agree that when there's someone explaining the game is gd (unlike my "very helpful" sis when we watch together lol )....for the truth i sometimes get a bit confused at the games as well lol - but i did lern quite alot from the anime.... i guess everybodies' opions i different!

TV games are pretty unpredictable, yet anime really puts you in... either way, POT was the anime that got me hooked on tennis. I guess the credit goes to both XD

I like both, but real tennis can take much longer time and sometimes it may be delayed by weather.
Well, anime tries to make that point too, but effects are exgarrated till the manga author felt funny.
