Sarah2929 7814 cr points Send Message: 26 / F / USA Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 7/26/08 If they ended it here I wouldn't be surprised but they left enough open for them to continue it onto the 3rd Season, honestly though I can not think of many anime that go into a 3rd Season except really long ones like Inuyasha Ranma etc and this is already 78 episode long so its debatable. All I can say is that the company finished making the 2nd Series sometime in late March, early April, there probably wouldn't be any metion of a 3rd Season until Winter 2008 since it takes several months to a year to complete an anime.

I mean, Ryuuki and Shuurei haven't gotten married yet! There should be at least a closure to their romantic... uhm, dilly-dallyings!!! Well, anyway, this is one of the best historical anime/manga I've seen so far. It gives a clear picture of what the greatest dynasties are made of.

(I suggest you to read the novel - it's really great! I've read 1 volume, and now I'm waiting for 2v to come from US - my love for Juuni Kokki [and for King of En ] is so great, that even those oceans of time while waiting for next book cannot ruin it ) As for the Saiunkoku 3 season... I know there is a little chance for that in the nearest future, cause of lack of stories to animate but still, I would want to see the 3 season anyway, someday!!!! I'll be waiting for that!!! And for true face of Ko Kijin - without the mask!!!
