Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner.
It has one of the most coolest art style I have ever seen in a game. I do agree that games like Okami and Shadow of the Colossus have a beautiful art style, But if you play ZoE 2 you will see what I mean. When I first played it in 2003 I was like... Wow is this really a PS2 game??? I'm not saying it has awesome graphics, I'm saying that the art style of the game makes it look so much cooler, cleaner, and just blew my mind by its beauty at the same time. ZoE 2's graphics and art style still pars with todays generation games (in my opinion). This game is made from Kojima studio. The same guys that made Metal gear solid, and unfortunately the ZoE series seems to be over shadowed by MGS and does not show a sign of a sequel... I am wishing for one day that a PS3 game is made for the ZoE series. |

Passage by Jason Rohrer Cloud, Flow, and Flower by That Game Company I Wish I Were the Moon, and Today I Die by Ludomancy Pathways by Terry Cavanagh Some games that some people might consider artistic Braid, Cave Story, 4 Minutes and 33 Seconds of Uniqueness, Indigo Prophecy, Robot Alchemic Drive... I'm surprised barely anyone mentioned Killer 7, which I think is probably the uber artistic commercial game out there. |

I would have to say Muramasa: The Demon Blade. It's from the creators of Okami and I looove the traditional Japanese art style.
