well, besides games everyone has mentioned already like Okami, No More Heroes, Shadow Colossus, and Killer 7
I wonder why no one mentioned Baroque, its so artistic, it can be described as intimidating....

I don't know any artistic games... I don't even know this Okami thing that 90% people in this forum stated but are the source games (games from Valve that are realistic) counted? If not, maybe these are the most realistic graphic game... So I dunno any artistic game... XP

Baldurs Gate is one of the most elaborate virtual worlds I've ever seen. The story, the artwork, everything fits together. Wizard's of the Coast are behind the concept. It's from the trade card game: Magic: The gathering. Everything takes place in the Forgotten Realms. It's not only the things you see when you play, (graphics are pretty sucky) but the Lore that's behind it. The amount of books you can find and actually read ingame is insane. (ofcourse not books with 100+ pages, but short stories you can find in the game as books)

Also The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind was a very beautifull game. Also insane lore and very beautifull artwork. Oblivion is graphicly better, but I didnt like that game at all. Monsters leveled with ur char wich led to the fact that you could clear the game being lvl 1...sucked badly.

Zelda: The ocarina of time was also awesome.

and lets not forget the point and click adventures of escape from Monkey Island please.

A game for the future with incredible artwork would be, without a doubt, Mortal online.

I could go on a few pages i guess, but I wont because I don't want to bore you:) I guess I'm trying to point out that there are more games then Okami wich are very rich filled with art.
