A metallic effect is pretty easy to achieve by "dividing" the object with a bold, wavy stroke

Yep, another of those details that is easy to ignore. You have to watch out for all kinds of bumps, especially on clothes. They require much concentration.

You may have noticed how irregular the lines are which I use for the jeans. That’s because I want to give them a patchy, almost dirty texture. With these kind of texture you don’t have to worry much about making mistakes XD .

This time, that part of the jeans does have no patches, but it still has a texture. I illustrate it by using the tiny strokes to simulate folds and shadows. That way it looks more like an old piece of rag, like the rest of the clothes.

step 23
And we’re already done! (Okay, I admit it took quite some time… XD)
What you have to do lastly is to leave the drawing to rest for at least about twenty minutes and then erase the pencil lines.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and found it useful! ‘Till next time !
