Crackdown
Posted 7/24/08
Well I was waiting for Mass Effect to come in the mail and decided to pick up a cheap game to play, there was Crackdown in a bin for like a few bucks and I decided to give it a try, not many people did because all they wanted was the Halo beta, but I'm open to playing a game even if it is just some piece of crap packaged with a beta.

Crackdown is NOT a piece of crap packaged with a beta.

In my opinion, this game is way better then GTA4, your a freakn cyborg cop that jumps like 500 feet and lifts cars, the gameplay is fun and satisfying, its open world and you can basically do whatever you want and go wherever you want, running around as a agent is more fun then swinging around in any spiderman game (the only part I liked about the game) and the game looks good, and has a polish you wouldn't expect from a game that was basically "That game with the Halo beta with it"

If you haven't played this game, and find it in a bargin bin, I garunte you there will not be much of ANYTHING better in that bin, because this is a game worth full retail, and you can pick it up now for like 15 bucks.

it was a badass game. I think this franchise has loads of potential. I would love to have a superhero game, based off the gameplay of this game.

The cop is so badass, and the game has some good dialouge to, like when you get set on fire the guy says "I love the smell of Agent in the morning." and another time he said something like "Burn Agent burn!" I was loling hard.

When you get your explosives to a a high enough level, the explosions you can pull off are truly badass at times. I felt like I was setting off a nuke.

I wish I had X-Box 360 to play it again. I played it on my cousin's, while he was living at my house, before He moved in with his girlfriend.
