Final Fantasy IV the After

I found this while randomly browsing in Google

Seems to be a direct sequel to FFIV for the Mobile Phones....

Uhhhm.. What can I say? So, it was X first, then 7... Or was it the other way around... Nvm... So Square has finally laid their eyes on IV as their new 'goat' to 'milk' the fans of their money... Really now, the only remakes I did not regret buying was FFIII DS and FFIV DS since they made a complete overhaul for these games[i.e. the actually spend money on the production], the others just blows[PSX, GBA and PSP ports]...

Really, I love IV as much as the next guy, but come on... While this may not be a remake or port but a direct sequel to IV. I think that Square should just lay off with the past FF titles and just let them die already...

It's not as if it'll ever come out in the states. Also, you forgot they made a sequel to FF12, as well.

Oh yeah... That too, international edition or other wise.... What the freakin' crap is wrong with Square lately?? I wonder...

It's not really a matter of Sqeenix porting it- America just doesn't have many common phones that could actually support it.

Lol, either way, if this is a low budget game then we probably wont see an NA version for this, but who knows... I was saying that Square should just let the older FF's fade away as legends rather than continue to tamper with them until they stop making sense and started s*cking @*s like VII...

I agree, actually playing IV again right now, made me realize, I actually don't like it that much, when I played it I was little so I was like "Wooo light beats dark good guys win!" Now to me its just like "You know just because something is dark doesn't mean its evil..." I was also pissed when I went from being a strong dark knight to a pussy paladin, some of the boss fights are extremely IMBA, the game wants you to grind which I HATE doing, money is in short supply, and the story isn't exactly "deep". The more I play older Final Fantasy games, the more I realize there not that great, and I only liked them because I was a little kid :/

Yeah, I noticed that its so damn hard to earn gill and level up in IV DS... I just got owned by that freakin' Sand Worm 3 times today... lost about 8 levels on Rydia.... Argh... this is getting on my nerve...

Also, yeah, I wonder why they always considered Darkness as evil... I say that 'Light harbors the darkest darkness...' Haha.. i loved desgaia 1 for that, you can kick angel butt...

Right now I'm getting owned by that solider guy in the castle, his magic attack takes like 1.5k damage.

And I love Disgaea 1 period :3

Will those Disgaea lovers stop bashing the light versus dark thing? I get it that we are all skeptical about good and evil. We think the idea of dark and light is banal. FFIV didn't even emphasize the idea of dark being evil and light being good. The dark crystals were neither good or evil. They didn't express it very well, but the whole giving up the dark sword and becoming a paladin thing wasn't about good or evil. It was about expelling a part of himself that he didn't like. It is about coping with the murders and crimes he commited and gaining power to defeat Golbez.
