	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 2/23/08 really, plotwise its shit, not even realistic or does not even have balance... the shittest gundam series ever on TV... SEED has the potential in getting better but Destiny ruined it... so in overall, below 5... at least its one point below passing...

Gundams are still mobile suits with only more stronger armor and weaponry that mass produced mobile suits have, SEED made mass produced suits weak and a big wuss of an enemy. Go watch Gundam X and Gundam 00 at least they provided decent fights as Mobile Suits don't have an advantage over one another, its the pilot that has the edge. Watch Gundam X first as you'll understand why SEED SUCKED, because SEED was a COPY of this SERIES only using better technology to create the anime. They couldn't dodge because the enemies in Gundam X were really bad. And not big wuss enemies but one that were skilled. They ripped the Strike and Aegis hug and blow up from the Physialis and Full Vernian's hug and blow up sequence. Even Gato having a jetpack to get away from the explosion was conveniently translated to Athrun having a jetpack to run away from the explosion. But Kou's escape was more believable than Kira's, because he jumped out before the two Gundams exploded. And his good friend, Chuck, helped him get back. And so by that list, they'd probably rip off F91 or Victory next, because I doubt they would rip 08th MS or ZZ, one's too realistic by CE standards and the other is just a continuity (which Destiny also already was).

Yep yep... The only deaths I enjoyed in the series was Fllay's. God, that really fulfilled the series for me.... But Juri's death was stupidly haxed (or so it seems to be) while Colonel Todaka's death by the hands of an emo kid he saved was just sad. Mu's death would've made me feel better. The death of a mentor with his own development, romance, etc. would've added some drama.
