I wouldn't really listen to rumous about it to be honest. They'll just be to build up anticipation and hype for its release. If Lacus did die I think there would be a wave of complaints from SEED fans.

If that was true then why would they start Gundam 00 in the first place..............Also I think Gundam Seed Destiny ended pretty well and if they create another Gundam series like Seed and Destiny, then that would destroy the purpose of that ending. Besides its gets quite brutal when a director suddenly decides to kill off his main characters from the the two previous series......it would cause a tremendous uproar in Seed and Destiny fans

i don't think there would be another sequel to Gundam Seed. A movie can still be considered as having new characters just like Stargazer. But if a sequel to GSD with all the main character end up dying, that would really pissed the fans off i bet.
