Almost done! Now I use white gouache (it's super thick!) to spray some white dots to freshen up the pic. Try to use a separate container to put the gouache, because it can really screw up the watercolors if they mix together. I load a big brush with it and after covering the faces of the characters, I hold up the brush horizontally about 10cm above the painting and gently tap it with my finger. This should result in light dots sprayed randomly all over the pic and everywhere else.. this creates a fine mess so be sure to remove anything precious around the area or better still, do this outside with some newspapers covering the floor.

Then I use a thin brush to do the highlights and white lines. Where this goes is up to your own discretion. Usually I highlight the eyes, hair, nose. then outline some parts of the pic or break up black lines.

Finally scan in the pic, adjust the colors and that's that! Everything took about 10 hours to complete.

you get the pictures from somewhere else of you do it yourself? it helps quite alot,at less i know what tools i have to use,thx.

no it not my drawing i ask my old firend to do a drawing tutorial for me and i post it here, so everyone can learn to do watercoloring
