umm, no one is actively pursuing gintoki romantically except for sa-chan. the only other female that might just may be a rival for his affections is otae, but even that seems a bit reaching. although sa-chan certainly seems insecure about otae and gintoki's relationship and kondou also. XD; i just don't really see where you're getting the idea that a majority of the girls are after him. they just see him as a good friend. i think it was said that he was lousy with women anyway.  |

What LGQC said. Gin just has good closer with the mini-story female casts, but that is all.
Only time Otae ever showed affection towards Gin was when his eyes got close together, and that went away when Gin's deadbeat eyes came back.
