totally agreed. we do over-analyze stuff. and make sure they're not hurt. bending the truth? more like avoiding the question, and just leave it there.

To all the posts above. Easy answers.

1) Big Breasts (not huge): It's not only instincts but it's one of the main defining features of a woman compared to a man unless we're walking around without pants and underwear on. You want to be physically attracted to someone. Attraction includes the physical as well as mental and emotional obviously. The way many women like a guy who has some muscle or is somewhat manly, guys want girls with some defining curves like breasts. It's like asking why girls don't like small penises. Durr... You want more as long as it isn't too much. I'm speaking for most people. Not all.
2) Don't tell them that they don't like them plainly: Um... Obviously it's usually because they want to be nice, not hurt your feelings, stay friends, or be afraid to outright tell you since it's bad news.
3) "You're a real sweet guy, but...": It would take a pretty btchy girl to say, "You're way under my standards so keep dreaming." Usually a girl isn't going to be into a guy usually because they are not physically attracted to them, he isn't charming (or boring), there's a better guy, or no chemistry. (It's usually the lack physical attraction followed by the guy's personality usually) If you like someone, you're usually going to be nice to them or at least show them what they want to see when you are into them. They're gonna think you're sweet. Even if they think you're not, they're going to obviously do damage control by saying that you're a nice, sweet, or great guy.
4) I'd either find it funny, awkward, or disgusting.
Funny because of the mental circuitry in my head over the years of gay jokes by friends and television.
Awkward since it's a private moment and I'm not used to seeing it.
Disgusting since I'm not attracted to guys at all so it's like 2 girls that I think are grotesque making out.

Here's a real question. Sexy, classy guy? Or funny, comfortable guy? Those are the only 2 options. It's the battle between the sexy guy and the fun guy over the girl. And no. You can't say whichever one is better looking or the one you love more. They are identical and you recently met them both.

If you were getting pretty out of shape while in a relationship and you know that your boyfriend cares about you; but you've noticed that he's been subtly trying to get you to get in shape (diet and exercise) how would you feel and what would you react to it? Do you think physical attraction and maintenance or it matters as much as your mental attraction to each other?

1) Of course the funny, comfortable guy. It's hard to have a relationship with someone you can't feel comfortable around. You'd spent a big portion of your time with him trying to think of what to say or do (I hate that) and being self-conscious instead of having fun or having meaningful conversations.
2) My reaction really depends on whether he's doing it for me or for himself. If it's for me, I would tell him it's my problem and I would handle it. If for himself, I would tell him to mind his own damn business and it's his loss if he can't accept me. I don't mind shallow guys much, but there is a limit to how much shallowness I can stand. Either way, I'd feel kind of annoyed and would continue doing what I'm doing until I feel like getting back into shape for myself.
3) That's hard to answer. I guess... physical attraction matters as much as mental attraction in the beginning (if not more) but, as the relationship develops, mental attraction matters more.

brains... the way I figure it plastic surgery can fix many things but you can't fix stupid.
