Granted, there are some girls that like to ask guys out, but most girls would prefer for guys to ask them out first... so they wait, smiling and flirting, hoping that the guy they like will get that they linger around him for a reason. They hope that he'll catch the subtle hint that they do small things for him and bring up dances or other activities in a round about way waiting for him to notice the hints they are bringing up.

Men are more blatent; most say what they want and go after what they want. Girls wait.

My guess is, as a simple guy, is that he has something else on his mind; big test, football game, sporting event etc. So, i would say he isn't thinking of you, or is shy
