i could never settle for someone just because they love me. i have to love them back, cause if i dont then i would just be hurting that person in the end. pretty much giving them false hope and not staying true to myself

I wouldnt want to hurt someone who cares for me just for my own selfish intentions. But i also believe that feelings can grow with time. It may not necessarily be a selfish act to settle for someone who loves me. It's also about giving chances, IMO. But i guess it depends on the situation huh ^^"

If you simply "date" that person, then feelings can grow, Unless you already love someone But even then, feelings can change.
For me... I wouldn't want 1 sided love~

I think I'll rather be with the person I love than with someone who love me but I don't love them back.

i think both really matters...i think you have to love them and they have to love you to be in a good relationship!

i think its about being with the person YOU love becasue you get to feel good if its with someone who loves you always cherishing you but are you cherishing the same amount? i think it makes the person happier if your with the person you love instead with someone who loves you and you dont love them back

if you're w/ someone who loves you and you don't love him back.. it makes you really guilty and it saps you emotionally.

if i'm w/ someone i love and he doesn't love me back.. it's tiring and it hurts but i'll still prefer to be w/ him..

we actually think that we would be happy to be with someone we love. of course, why wouldn't we? but here's the big bang of reality: what if that person doesn't really love us back? or should i say, he/she only considers us..well..a friend and just a friend. so then we are..somewhat.. hurt )= but we know we could change that. we could make that person see us amidst the crowd. but if there's someone who got to his heart before us, well..welcome to hearbreak city. the place is all yours =__=

but being with someone who loves you, cares for you, and looks at you with every sparkle in his eyes, yet is someone unwritten in your heart, would be like: the vice versa of the one above.

then comes the big question mark. who do we choose?

WHO do I choose? i guess, i'd just rather be with the latter (= i can't force anyone to love me, for me. at least it's good to know there's someone who cares. i'd just..try..to adjust. but even though, deep down inside, there's still those pieces; probably still unshattered because that feeling for the one i love is still there. and the pain is also along with it.

how do you know if somebody really cares about you? you can't be certain of feelings people have for you.
words don't show how much somebody loves you; so you can never be totally sure. actions can't confirm it either.
the only thing you can be sure of is how much you love someone because it's you who's feeling it; and you know it.

well, even then it could still be an infatuation.
so for me, i wouldn't be content with the person who loves me.
i would only settle for who i love, and for who i love only.
because

i'm kind of in love right now.
and well, i know that. i want him to love me back.
the problem is if he's with you, you don't want him to be with you just because he feels like he has to.
you want him to be with you for you. because he loves you.

so. (sorry; kinda repetitive here) i would settle only for who i love, but
if he did not love me back, ever, it wouldn't be right to stay with him.
cause then i'd be some kind of burden to him...

if you didn't meet them now, you would have met them in 10 years.
if not then, 20 years.
