yeah, seo taiji is one of the best, but i'm not worried for big bang. they produced with dashi dance and no brain so their album is gonna be the bomb. i heard seo taiji's preview and it was good, really good. so its gonna be fun watching them.

very(: oh & also female bigbang suppose to debut this month too xP we are getting so off topic rofl.

yg didnt say anything else on the girl group. and to get back on the subject, i hope this group does well even though i dont listen to their kind of music. and they could have picked a better name.

oh on zdegrees, it said that they will release an album in august, maybe theyre wrong
but yeah, the name reminds me of crouching tiger, hidden dragon lol.

They look like those wannabe deep singers who try to mask their true selves by having a picture taken of themselves in a depressed atmosphere. But in reality, they only care about popularity, money, and their own looks. They look like a straight up R&B version of Big Bang (which will most likely result in an epic fail). The only way they'll get sales is to have an image that they actually care and they'll use their looks, make-up, clothing and dancing to make up for the musical skills that they lack. Hmmm doesn't this sound familiar... Oh wait. It's only every new Korean singer/group.

Stop trying. Koreans are failures in the music industry when alone. Stop depending on your looks to get a career. It only attracts negative fans who only care about looks. Nothing like watching superficial girls scream their lungs out for people who are used to cover up a government scandal. Just look at Kang Ta, SG Wannabe, Yoo Seung Joon, etc. I'm Korean. Seriously, this shit is getting old. And people wonder why Asians can't be famous in America.

uhh a little harsh there. most actually do have talent fyi. like god, fly to the sky, big bang, dbsk. and yeah asians can't make it to america.. why? cause the two cultures are totally different, it wouldn't work out. oh btw it's not only koreans that use their looks, make-up, clothing, and dancing other artists in diff countries do that too. thanks for your knowledge and intelligence, but you need a reality check.

Reality check? You need to wake up and make some Folgers (non decaf). Seriously, most of the new age groups record in studios and digitally edit it later. I'll say this again. I'm Korean. I already know how all these fags are. They do the same shit just in different ways. You ever think why Koreans can't get a contract in America besides the racism and culture diversity? Maybe because they just don't have talent. It's all dance, outfits and make-up nowadays rather than a really good singing voice on and off microphone. If you ever listened to YUI, she always sounds the same (whether she's in a studio, on the street or doing a live performance). Although she strains her voice for the high notes she wants, she still gets the job done. Not to mention, the new-era of music is into lyrics. You ever listen to this repetitive nonsense? You have to grow up and realize that looks can be deceiving. Also, Koreans LOVE plastic surgeons. I don't know why they think it's always the answer when natural beauty and talent exists. Yawn. A true musician can make up for their lack of appeal with talent and creativity. Music critique finished. Please thoroughly read my posts or there is no point in quoting and replying.

haha seriously? youre kidding right?? who says those things? but whatever thats not the point. first of all ive already heard most of them live, and they are talented, sure dancing is a big thing, but dancing+singing live at the same time is really tiring thats probably why some of em dont sound good. second, i dont give a shit if youre korean or not. and its not just koreans that cant get a contract in america you dumbshit and cultural diversity totally plays the biggest role in that. the new era is not into lyrics its all about melody and beat, you here rap music that says the same thing over and over agian and its still probably like the most popular song in the nation. you talk nonsense and youre just making yourself look bad. and 'yawn'?! someones going totally overboard to seem cool, not working.. one word for ya, lame.

This criticism is coming from a person named "hollisterbabe". Let me paint a quick stereotypical picture on what type of person you are. You're self-involved, you have to hang out with friends or "your life is over", getting gifts is your 3rd favorite thing next to gossiping and acting cool. Music is music, not dancing. Distinguish the difference. I don't care if you break dance and sing at the same time, your music is the beat you choose, the rhythm you sing to and lyrics you speak. To watch someone perform and listen to them sing/rap/etc without judging their physical characteristics is probably hard for you. Seriously, physical attraction is the main thing used to become big in the music industry. How about the world stops being superficial for 5 minutes and listen to a real song? And what's this nonsense about "...rap music that says the same thing over and over again"? As a lyricist, I'm appalled that you would consider rap to be like that. Try listening to something NOT ON THE RADIO much? When was the last time you enjoyed music without judging their looks and rather just recognize real talent, talent that could change the world instead of being astounded by fancy choreography and a fireworks display (well, it's usually lights and lasers). It shows how much you know about me and about music. You probably can't even name the fundamentals on how to judge music by sound. "Oh my god. The song sounds so good but they're promoting the degradation of women" is all the stupid bimbos opinion about rap songs. Anyways, for the Korean music, if any musical genre is repeating, it's DEFINITELY Korean music. The same old love songs, just different words. The same old piano/violin/guitar melody. Seriously, it's getting REALLY old. I haven't heard a decent Korean musical artist since Seo Taiji. Ever since then, there hasn't been one except for the rap genre (Shogun, Flowsik). Creativity > monetary abuse on trying to make a person look better.

that is a stereotypical picture, but what you said didnt describe me at all. the number one thing that matters to me my friend is my family and friends and then its my education. got it? well enough about me. i never said music was dancing. and stop judging me if you dont even know me, physical appearance comes AFTER to me too, kay? i was just defending the fact that there ARE korean artists that do have talent, unique, and not a waste in the korean music industry. of course some like wonder girls dont, but believe it or not dbsk, big bang, clazziquai, f.t. island, (have you heard of them??) etc. have talent. dude i wasnt talking about rap overall, i was talking about how music like that are still popular even though their lyrics are pointless, of course there are rap music that actually have a meaning in their lyrics! oh and yeah i could probably paint a stereotypical picture of you too 'kirbysan' a so called korean whos obsessed with japan and their freaky manga and anime who shouldnt even have the right to be called korean, its seems youre not proud to be one.

I'm not proud to be one because they're extremely racist. Black people = dirt man? I mean seriously.. Isn't that a bit too dramatic? Will they forever stare at them as criminals and possible ex-convicts? Anime? I haven't watched it since the good ones. Oh wait, that was a few years ago. Saying DBSK and Big Bang are good? Just look at the epic failures from the past like "PinkL" (FinkL), H.O.T, G.O.D, Yoo Seung Joon, FTTS, SG Wannabe, etc. They're all fads. They don't last. So stop wasting time and money with a temporary idol and find a real person. Look at Eminem. He's like what? 36? Still considered a rap catalyst for a better generation. Been freestyling since 20. That's a true musician. Everyone keeps getting distracted by the appearance of the performer rather than how good they actually are. I prefer instrumental/classic music because you can hear a variety of sounds and point out how each instrument was played. Some people can't appreciate it. You assumed so much on how the typical person on crunchyroll.com is but the only you proved was how much you tried to make an "ass" out of "you" and "me". Har har....... Anywho, just try comparing different music genres and their history. Bebop legends like Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, etc are still being heard today. You think Big Bang and all those stupid boy bands will be heard years from now? No.. they're temporary musicians who do whatever it takes for money. Some artists keep their dignity intact.

Some artists keep their dignity intact.

you mean heuk in? yeah i find it rude too, but i guess you forgot koreans arent the only racists, racism is all over the world, again, welcome to reality. but i mean its your choice being proud or not so im gonna drop that subject. you have no right at all to tell me to go find a real person. dbsk, big bang, they are for real. im sorry, it may be because im a girl and a typical asian teen. and yeah eminem is dying, big time. oh btw gd for BB has been in the music industry since, um idk, twelve i believe. that boy right there has talent too. if youre pointing out to ME that i cant appreciate classical music, youre wrong, i actually play the flute and im pretty much devoted to it. and who the fuck are all these people youre naming? how OLD are you? do you even know whats going inside these so called 'temporary musicians' heads? uh i think the answer would be no, so if i were you i wouldnt be stating stuff like 'theyll do whatever for money' with confidence. seriously, you need to let go and let people listen to the music they want without your unnecessary comments criticizing their favorite artists, youre like a pain in the ass. 'har har.. anywho?' lets just say im laughing at those comments.

DNT reminds me of my worst subject... Design and Technology?
They sound awesome even if I only heard their singing for a while.
I am so totally gonna listen to their songs once it's out.

H.O.T
G.O.D
Fly to the Sky
Big Bang
Wonder Girls

"Disagree NOT disrespect"

I'm not a pain in the ass. Just a guy who has the balls who state the obvious and to state his own opinion. Screw these prepubescent adolescents who are addicted to music that'll be considered a fad. I have the write to state my opinion and my perspective. Denying me would be violation of my freedom of speech (well, rather freedom of expression). That's why I start these posts; to hear another's response and see what they have to say. Also, I enjoy the ranting against fad music. Yeah I know racism everywhere. I live in the most racist country and state but to hear Koreans say "dirt man" and Chinese people saying "black ghost", it's kinda messed up. Eminem is dying out but his music will always be there and remembered by so many people. He created a legacy; being a white man that took over a musical genre that's supposed to be dominated by the black/hispanic race. When was the last time Korea did anything revolutionary in the music business? The only ones who did are in the U.S. Big Bang might be considered a "revolutionary group who mixed good choreography and Korean R&B and rap" but seriously, that's all bull. They won't last. The typical 1-5 year contract and lots of publicity will wear off like the buzz on a drunk person in a room filled with nerds talking about Star Trek. I admit that I'm passionate about music (possibly an extremist) but only because it influences people across the world. As a matter of fact, music is one of the hugest media influences; might as well call it a melodic mind controlling technique. The new generation R&B and rap are telling people "Hey. It's ok to be a slut and to have sex. Make 400 babies. We encourage it". Korean music has been saying "Hey. Hold in your emotions. Hurt yourself to the point where you go insane. And with horrible timing, tell the person you love them and get your heart broken". Seriously, if it weren't for the thousands of superficial fans, most of the Korean groups/singers wouldn't have any publicity. It's because of those damn fobs who love to wear purple, pink, orange, blue, green and beige in one outfit that screams their lungs out just by seeing a damn picture of them. You may not see it but that's the majority. Nothing like gathering the most random guys and putting them in a music group to make as much money as possible, targeting innocent adolescents (because they're the most vulnerable). If you can always listen to music with a smile on your face, wouldn't you say that's good music? Instead of those songs that make you depressed just by listening to it because it reflects your life or any recent events (ain't that the truth). Then you like those songs because you can relate it to life. But you know what? The song isn't about you. It's made by some random person trying to make it big. The world has changed so much. I think the only Asian artist worth listening to is YUI. Just by listening to her sing, play the guitar and understanding her lyrics, you can tell she was meant for music. Too long. End of post.
