i think u should post a better article then using allkpop.

first of all, YG NEVER SAID HE WANTED HIM TO GO TO AMERICA, he said and i quote him

"While watching Taeyang’s solo concert, it also felt as if I was watching a world wide singer perform."

nothing about America there.

second of all i think he should focus on Se7en who is suppose to debut in America since a year ago.

as much as i love tae (big bang too) , america is truly far from what he need to do. i no that he wants to do it one day but there are a lot of things he needs to focus on like BB's comeback, his english and etc. i think he would do fine but its that "barrier" that i worry about.

i want him to come here who does??

yeah, i don't think they should send him to america. i mean, america is very hard to please. plus, his moves and style are like omarion and chris brown and the music is a tad same to the other artists here....ex: a small part of one of his songs sounded like justin timberlakes...

I don't think they should send him to the states even though I know he'd succeed there definitely will be alot of criticism and haters from the states

i adore Taeyang and all but i dont' think its a good idea to send him to the states. Like it said in the article: he is basically a copy of Chris Brown and Omarion I can already hear the ppl in the US saying "He's such a wanna-be Chris Brown/Omarion."

Yupyup exactly, I dont think they'll even give him a chance

I agree, i think it'll be like what happened with Se7en and Utada. They got really popular in Asia but when they tried to do same in US, it didn't work out so well for them....i think. > <"

Se7en's album hasn't even come out yet and Utada didn't do well only because her record label did no promotion for the album.

I think Tae Yang has the stuff, but yea, he'll only be seen as some Asian Omaion rip-off. All of the Big Bang members have been heavily influenced by Omarion, so it'll show. He'll have to create his own style. But I'd be so happy if he were to succeed because I love that guy!

nah i no that no one in BB is actually going to leave each other cuz they have a very close relationship like GD and YB had been friends for about 7/8 years, they had trained together, they lived together and etc. Even with him doing his solo, they supported him. They were there at his concert, when he won awards and etc. If they disband, i would like camp out of YG's office and demand a reason cuz BB isnt BB till they are together

please dont send this borderline homosexual to the states. its already embarassing with rain.
taeyang........................................................................ no.................................

WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL TAEYANG?!!
HOMOSEXUAL?!

dude i usually respect it when other people say negative stuff about the greatest korean artists, but you dont seem to know what you're talking about. taeyang is different from bi or any other korean artist when it comes to his style, personality, and performance.. i suggest you look him up first before you judge whether he can make it in america or not.. because FYI he already has fanclubs all over the US, Brazil, and France... Even his Sunbaes [Seniors] in the Korean entertainment industry are bowing down to him right now. Yang Hyun Suk even said that watching him perform, you wouuld think that it's a foreign artist visiting Korea.

calm down girlie.
its an opinion of mine, and i have no intention on changing it. so no need to persuade me.
i DO know of taeyang, seen him grow through big bang, but im sure hes a flop/embarrassment if he comes to the states.

im not denying his talents.

he should stay in korea, where he has 'international' fame and since he is ohh so respected to the point where sunbaes are bowing down to him.

that would be a horrible HORRIBLE idea.
there is no way the kid would survive. it is SO hard to break into the entertainment industry in the US and having an accent doesn't necessarily help. it's sad to say but especially since he is asian it will be 2394298402394 times harder, SE7EN [my favorite] and Bi Rain have tried but as of right now, nothing is happening at all, and to be honest i don't think anything will...for a while. the american society still hasn't had any prominent asian singers and i don't think they are ready for it. taeyang especially just became popular around now, he doesn't have what it takes. sorry but he should just stay in asia.

people would be see him as a complete "wannabe usher". or jt or chris brown.
