oh and don't forget Shuuei and Ryuuren and the Ran triplets ahaa

i personally think that,as time goes by,shuurei will marry ryuuki,i mean COME ON!
they're made for one another

but i kinda hope like the ending would be like a fight between the Emperor and (insert love rival's name) fight
then Ryuuki won,
but was badly injured,
then Shuurei treated him and bla bla blaa
they get married
had a son(personally,i want them to have a boy)

I, too, hope Ryuuki and Shuurei marry; that's the most important part and that's what it seems to be.

Then the other characters fall into play.

- Maybe, in my thought, Jyuusan-hime and Seiran could get married. That might be an interesting couple. She could make him laugh and smile more.
- I think Shoka stills keeps his deceased wife in memory, so he might not remarry. So, perhaps, Shusui might marry Ran Shuuei. I liked the scene between them when they speak of unrequited love; and when she fixes his robe and when he brings her back to her chambers.
-Kourin and Eigetsu will most likely marry. Yougetsu ought to be a peaceful wondering spirit.
- I don't know who Ryuuren could pair up with... maybe he'll just be around in the fields playing his instrument and visit occasionally. We'll have to watch season 3.
- The Ran triplets will just be there... and stuff. haha
- Aw, ENSEI. I hope he finds someone as loving and caring. He could marry the courtesan from the Red Lights District even though that contradicts what I said.
- The officials, court members, and citizen of all the provinces may find something to value.

As for SA SAKUJUN, he might still be alive if not in body but in spirit doing good after he was lectured by Shuurei.

Overall, I hope that the ending is happy and closed one that made us want to watch the whole story through.

maybe the real ending would be shuurei marrying someone to let her position up..she will not marry ryuuki instead marrting her own self....the ending would be ryuuki would marry someone else,,,later...he will forget the love for shuurei,,,...nehhhhhhhh. many might react that it is a bad ending/...but....it is a good ending for me,,,

What i want to happen is kinda like yours

In my ideal world....

Sakajun comes back but has given up being nobility and trys to convince Shuurei that he has changed...Since hes a very charming person she falls for him....again... And knowing that she can never marry Ryuuki (because of her having to give up work and not being able to help him as much as she wants) she agrees to marry him instead. Ryuuki then finds out and goes after her Storms into the wedding ceramony and then they ay a sword fight :P... Ryuuki injures Sakajun and Shuurei falls out with him.. They make up... Ryuuki gives a very romantic speech about how he wants her to marry him.. She agrees... Then they get married, have a kid (I think a boy also who looks just like Ryuuki) And its all happy because then Ryuuki's child will get the love and attention he didn't get as a child

And Sakajun...Maybe he can marry Jyuusan-hime :)

Here's my prediction from what I've read and everything I've seen related to SM:

Shuurei isn't going to marry Ryuuki no matter what. I think he will marry Jyuusan-hime but still be in love with Shuurei and I'm positive that Shuurei will love Ryuuki as well. I'm 99.99% sure this is what's going to happen. I think there love is eternal but they won't be together. Who Shuurei ends up with, I'm leaning towards Kouyou (not that I want too, I'm a hardcore Ryuuki/Shuurei) but that's more of a guess without evidence. I believe Sakujun is dead but wandering around like a spirit (possibly be a sage? Or possessed by one?). Ryuuren...oh gosh, I can't see that kid with anyone and plus, I like him single. Kourin and Eigetsu: obviously together and married. Oh yah, I also think that at this rate, there won't be a thrid season. Maybe in like a year or two but most definitely not now. The novels seem like they're coming to a close soon so yahh....but if there's no third season, I think there will be a few OVAs out so yahh.

i think shurrei wont marry cuz she wont be able to do the job she loves...im 100% sur shusui doesnt marry shoka cuz he doesnt like her.
anyways, if shurrei marries one person, a bunch of people will be happy cuz she ended up with so and so and a bunch will be mad cuz she didnt end up with the person they wanted...hahah

Yougetsu is gone now right? i really hope Shuurei would marry Ryuuki.

My ending would be.. a kid was running inside the palace which happens to be the son of Ryuuki and Shurei!!
