Yeah that would be awesome, I bet they're hilarious. I've seen some pictures of the Kiheitai in school uniform, and they look really cute. In the meantime, I hope someone translates them... But I would love them to be an anime of their own--and an OVA!

Ah! I just read it! It was funny, and cracked out... It was actually lovey-dovey in a twisted way, and gives me a little hope for OkiKagu. The characters remind me of Gintoki and Sa-chan, or perhaps Katsura!?

maybe it could have the comedy and little romance of the current gintama like sa-chan.and it could be great to have a bunch of people like in gintama ex.the dango guy,the monster,hanano ana,ketsuno ana ect.like a normal high school anime ,it would be hilarious

I dont think its possible though. Ginpachi was based on the Kinpachi Sakamoto series. They only make limited use of plagiarism |

i think it could totally work! actually i'm pretty sure it could. at the end of either vol.1 or vol.2 of the manga they had this omake where gintoki was a high school teacher and the rest of the cast as the students so that right there is proof it could work. but that's just me

According to Wiki, there actually is a series of light novels based on this theme. Perhaps that will get translated into anime form at some point.
