Depends, Air had a sad ending but the story was very good, but Clannad had a happy ending *not the movie* and was very cute...personally i like Clannad

i don't know. i liked clannad better since everyone was more hyper and funner. i love how the episodes went, they even add hummor in about every episode

Clannad was just way too long and some of the characters' arcs weren't even touching even if the directors wanted it to be. The only "good" arc was Fuuko in my point of view because it did made me tear.
Air, on the other hand, was unbelievably touching (made me cry actually D:) and almost all the episodes were important, so I find it way better. Also, all of the characters somehow connect, so I think it makes the anime more interesting to watch.
