Well....basically I am not afraid of death....why would you be afraid of something that is gonna happen when it happens?

I mean I don't want to be heartless, but there are more important things to worry about like the happiness of those around you.

That sounds kind of weird too, but life is all about having joy and inner peace so why worry yourself about what is going to happen and go out and live. I bet this has been said many times, but it is the truth.

I think that people only start to think about death when they aren't doing anything, so instead of thinking about it, go out and DO SOMETHING worth your time.

Benjamin Franklin once said "Even as we must account for every idle word, so we must for every idle silence." I think that if people sit around doing that when they have and "idle silence" then they must account for wasting those precious moment of life and that they have their reward for thinking about it...heartache and sorrow....unless your like me and don't even fear death *wink*

Fact:
On average people are more afraid of spiders than they are of death

hmmmm... i dont think you guys are afraid of dying... just how you die... is it painful? are you still regretting something.. scary? well im my opinion of course... :DDD

Death is inevitable... so why worry about the future when we still live today...

They afraid of dead because :
1 . Most human believed in heaven and hell , and they scare that hell exist .
2. They can't see there love one anymore .
3 . They scare that their existence will be forget .
4. they wasn't able to finish what they need to do on earth .
5. They scare that they will be disappear completely and never reborn .
Well...Most of the reasons is this . (mine is reason #5)

afraid to lose those i love there is no pain equal to this

Everyone is afraid of death, you cant rly say "no im not"
because i bet even a little bit inside every1s afraid of it, even if its just a tiny, tiny bit.

because death is unknown, you dont know what its like to die, and once you do
you cant come back, you cant change your mind, and ull be forever taken away from your family and friends.

its like a dark oneway road, your curious of where it'll lead you, but you have to go alone
and once you take a slight step towards it you cant come back, ever.

something you dont know is scary, specially if its something you cant turn away once you look its way

some people are also afraid of death due to regrets, since if you were to die, you havent done everything youv wanted to do, you havent experiences things you wanted to experience..

Yeah, im afraid of death but at the same time im not, like most people i would imagine.

scared coz it's so unpredictable..

'well, for me. maybe I am not really afraid of death. I mean, what's the point? we all gonna die somehow, someday, right? but then, maybe, I am, too. I am afraid because.

*I really don't know what happens in the after life.
*don't know what's waiting for me when I die.
*that my soul may end up wandering.
*because I don't know when or how [I am going to die]
*because I fear that when I die, I may be forgotten by the ones I love.

well, I think those are the reasons why I felt somehow afraid, too of dying.

sure all of those things can happen, but since your dead, you won't care. actually you can't care. So why get bothered over something trivial like death, when you die, you rot in the ground, or get burned into ashes. either way your still dead. and since your dead, stuff like loved ones forgetting you, or wandering aimlessly doesn't matter anymore. thats stuff only matters when your alive. So why worry or be afraid of something that you have no control over. and since it's going to happen anyway. it's nothing to be afraid of at all, when you die, you die. simple matter.

well, i have my own opinions and my own beliefs as well. yeah, really you're right that you won't ever care anymore about those things when you die. you're right that when you die, you die, simple as that. but i am still alive now, so those things still matter to me, NOW. simple matter^^

Frankly, I'm not afraid to die.

I believe that death isn't something to be afraid of. It is inevitable, you can't avoid it no matter how hard you try.

I'm afraid of death because it can actually take away your loved ones in a flash... I really want to see my loved ones succeed first and say I can die now before I can face death.
