I don't fear death. I fear the moments that come before death. As for death itself why fear the inevitable? Here's a story for all you young people. Once upon a time there was a man who was walking down the street in New York City. As he walked he looked over to the other side of the street and there he saw Death beckoning him to come closer. The man ran away as fast as he could. He caught a cab and went to the airport. Then he took a plane to Atlanta. Feeling he was far enough away from Death he rented a motel room, laid down and thought "Now that I know I'm supposed to die in NY I'll never return there and I'll live forever." He fell asleep and late in the night there came a knock at the door. The man opened it and there stood death. "But it can't be you" said the man. "I saw you beckoning me in NY. I was to die there." "I was not beckoning you" replied Death "I was waving at you. I was surprised to see you in NY when I knew we had an appointment here in Atlanta tonight."

I'm afraid of death. there's no guarantee whether I'll go to heaven or hell.
plus, death is painful no matter how you died.

Fear of change, fear of the unknown are your biggest culprits.

If you are religious or otherwise associated with other religion it is fear of being punished. This fear extends to the point of being cast into the place typically called Hell which was influenced and directly drawn from the Greek interpretations of Tartarus. Death is what it is and nothing more. Death is a natural part of the cycle that is life. We are all going to die one day one way or another. It is nothing to fear rather something you should embrace when it is your time.
Think of it this way, death is your release from pain and suffering and the path to a new meaning of existence. Whether there is a next world, reincarnation and so forth it doesn't really matter as you are part of a cycle. Said cycle will not end until the sun itself collapses in upon itself. If we lose our consciousness as individual beings, it is particularly frightening, however, what we are shall merely return from whence it came and the essence of what we are shall become the foundations of new life. Life and death are connected, they are one and the same, neither is good nor evil merely nature at work.

It is more about being open-minded and living your life the way you choose to. Respect nature which bestowed and sustains your current life and do not futilely resist the inevitable. You'll find the angsting, stress, and fear of death the greatest obstacle to overcome. Dying is easy and painless it is the moments leading to death that can go either way. Accept you are mortal and embrace death as you would life and all will be well.
You shouldn't live in fear of death. No one knows what lies after death if anything at all. There is no point worrying about something we will never know until we experience the sensations accompanied with death. Humans are animals and a part of nature so we must one day succumb and return what we took to exist. I consider death a returning to paradise and a truly lasting peace. I don't seek death but neither will I shy away from it when my time is spent, that is something we should all keep in mind.

is it a bit weird that I don't fear death? I fear life. 'Cause in life, it's a requirement not to lose a moment. and u kno, that's well scary.

Many will proudly say that they do not fear death, but if I were to point a gun directly at your head would you be all calm like in a classic Hollywood Blockbuster? I sure wouldn't, I would create brown bricks in my pants and build up a house and hide in it. Well maybe not that far but you get the jist of things.

And to answer the question properly : yes, I do fear death, because I believe I have a reason to live, or: I desire to live.
I cannot currently pinpoint which one but I have a slightly stronger feeling it's the latter, wait no, it's properly both...
But even if I do fear death, I will still fight to the bitter, dire end. .....(FOR THE ALLIANCE!)

I am not afraid of death.
I am afraid of what's gonna happen.

I want to die in my sleep, with no regrets, pain, whatsoever.

and if it's possible to die without pain and the worry of others, I'd want to die that way...

It scares me a lot. More than death itself, it's not existing anymore once I die that scares me. I love my family so much... once I die, I hope I can join my parents somewhere, if that's even possible. I love them... I love my family so much it terrifies me.

It's not death I'm afraid of, it's the pain in the process of dying.
