Its the fear of pain or nothing after, for some its the fear or hell. I feared hell and nothingness, sit and try to think what it would be like not to think any more. Death a mystery of the unknown, some people say its the unknown, wail other know or think they know what happens after we die. I went trough this struggle this fear. I was panicking every day for something I never truly feared became fearful of death as I grow older one day it hit me like a bus, Your gonna die nothing can stop it nothing you can do about it. Then I learned the truth after so much study what happens when we die. science and religion impacted together, and the answer to what happens when we die is life a new life we become a spirit. science says its possible even if main stream science will say different that evolution says we just die but the truth is evolution is right but also is religion we evolve to some thing else. energy cant be destroyed haha inless you become some demons lunch. am a paranormal investigator and I found the answer. So I tell you not to fear death for all who reads this dont fear it there is an afterlife and there is a god, like wise so saying if theres a god ther is satin and demons all varry real no simple myth remember most myths started somewhere with a grain of truth.

I like to think that my life has some meaning, that there's something yet to be done that I was born to do that I will not be able to do if I die.

It's probably just conceit I guess. Oh well.

edit, also the pain of dying, and possibly hell i guess.

I do not want to die right now. But that doesn't mean I fear death, it means I fear not being able to accomplish the things I want to accomplish.

Can't worry about something that will happen eventually, better to live in the present instead of dwelling in the future

Probably already posted in this thread awhile back but I do not fear death. I have no real big attachment to life. I find it pretty boring and figure death can't be much worse. If there isn't anything after we die then it is even better too.

I am not afraid of physical death.

When I think about death I just think about that time before I was born... Im sure it will be similar to that. My only fear is not enjoying myself before I go back.

If I were to die my theory about my divinity would be proven false. That's a terrifying thought.

im not afraid of dying im just afraid of getting old and not being able to do anything i rather die than not be able to do anything with my life

Im scared but then again Im not scared because its going to happen no matter what and you can't stop it so why be scared and think about it. its the hard truth all humans face in life but bury away in the back of their minds. But when the time comes don't you think it would be easier to die then to live? Its easy to die. Its hard to live. As long as your alive you keep living and carry on in life. Dying can happen at anytime. The fact is what makes it scary but facing it..........

I'll just say one thing. Easier said then done.

The death of your body is not the death of you. What makes You is immortal and cannot ever die. Eventually, you'll return to live another life or you'll live the same life again, because on the other side there is no such thing as time.

I am not afraid of death.

However, I will do anything to keep myself alive.
