Having experienced death or as about as close as you possibly could come to it I'd have to agree with a previous remark on the method of death and not death its self. I was shot in the throat pointblank 7 years ago and should've died but thanks to advancements in medical science and my shear will to live here I am. Afraid of death? Not much comes close to hitting the ground with a thud paralyzed unable to move or breathe and choking on your own blood while your loved ones scream all around you... and then it all goes black...

Because I have no idea what really happens after you die. Do you really go to hell or heaven? Do you really go into another life? I don't want to just forget this life and leave for another one. It's like this life never even happened. Not only that, but eventually, if you're not famous or an important public figure, you'll be forgotten.

No reason to fear it as death is the only thing all life has in common. I have been afraid of death but did much sole research as well as college religion courses and just sed blehhhh. Ill be an agnostic not knowing what will happen, but because you die like everything else, you will never be alone, the first, or the last living being to die. I get a lot of solace int hat fact. If there is nothing, you won't have a damn idea, and if there is, I believe the key to a "good" afterlife is being fair and kind to others.

I'm afraid because its a scary that any thought you have is suddenly wiped out, and you have no presence or anything. Everything just disappears. Its hard to explain

I fear not so much death but if there's anything after death. I believe in heaven and all that stuff, but on the off chance we're wrong and there's no matter of any sort of existence afterwards that freaks me the hell out.

No, I am not afraid of death. Simply because death is a natural cycle of life. Therefore, why would you fear nature ? We are nature.

I'm not afraid of death, cause I don't plan on dying! But if I do, I believe in reincarnation. You won't remember your past, or have any hint of it, but you (which really won't be you) will live on as a new person with new beliefs and desires and lives.

Totally agree with that. Incarnation does actually happen and some people do remember their past lives.
