Well, this is what i hate about myself... I wanted to overcome this...
How about you? What do you do when you encounter these?

Please knock-it out if there is something wrong about it... Thank You... I'd appreciate it...

I've never been in love but I've had (and still do have) friends that claim they are. From my point of view, their relationship seems to be nothing but arguments and fights. I don't understand why they're together. They're not happy (cause it's so obvious) and when I ask why they say cause they're "in love" and people in love fight sometimes. My look on it is...if being in love is supposed to consist of fights, arguments and testing someone's trust....then I never ever want to be in love. Ever.

I'd be in denial probably when the person I'm in love with would look like the crypt keeper or some kind of weird hippie. Probably...

I believe that all my affections were all infatuations. However, I seem to have bumped into a confusing love, which is quite awkward, but not necessarily a case like yours.

By acknowledging that you are "in-denial", don't you already know that you are "in love"?

Umm, i don't understand. How can someone deny that they're in love? If you're in love you should know it right? Plus, i think the whole concept of having to love another involves a great amount of time. I understand having great admiration for a person... but love? That takes a lot to develope... but hey, i don't have the right to say anything really since i don't completely know what kind of situation that you're in. All I know is that you're in denial? Which is kind of non-specific here. lol.

izickree is correct. well i believe that i am in love now with my boyfriend but before we went out, we were friends for a couple months. I started to develop feelings for him but I denied them...I didnt want to like anyone anymore after having my heart broken by some other guy. My denial caused me to reject my bf twice, i knew i liked him but i dunno i just didnt want to accept..maybe i was afraid..who knows. But i overcame it afterwards and decided to accept my true feelings =)
Uh..sorry if I didnt answer your questions properly..I think i was rambling on again

EDIT: all i know is, if you love someone, whether you arent sure they love you back...its never right to deny what you feel =/

I always deny my feelings until its official that we're going out. Because then it could have been a crush instead of love

It's kind of funny how infuations are often interpreted as being in love... I guess when you get as old as me you start understanding yourself better and understand your feelings more. It's better to stay true to yourself then stay in denial. Lol there's lots of kinds of denials though... so maybe not all forms of denial is bad but from experience being in denial never did anything good for me.

Thanks, I feel like a geezer now.

On topic: I accepted that I won't be finding true love anytime soon, so I keep my mind of it. It's a personal decision, because I'm too selfish to give my time and money to a person I'll be breaking up with anyway.

I don't really understand your question. Are you asking that when one's in love, is he/she in-denial of his/her partner's wrongdoings? (That's how I saw it when I first read your question...) or are you asking that when one's in love, they deny being in love? (my understanding after reading some of the answers...)

But, to answer the first question, yes. Love is blind.

When I thought that my ex was cheating on me, my friends confirmed my suspicions, but I was "in-denial" and trusted him whole-heartedly. I ignored their warnings/shit talking and continued dating my ex coz "I loved him."

There are person who really deny that they are inlove and Im one of them... and i dont know why I always do this...
My friends told me that i almost done it thrice...

The situation is that, my friends always tell me that basing on their observation i am inlove with someone whom they know...
but, they told me that i am indenial about it.
Indeed!
Its just that according to them i don't want to admit it...
But for me, i think they are wrong...
I know it because I know myself... and then they responded on that statement
"naaahhh! there are things that you do not know about yourself but the others know so don't give us that kind of statement!"
