Personally, I cant stand ecchi shows or harems at ALL. They usually have crappy plots.. in my opinion.
And this topic was posted in your opinion.. There are a lot of really good shows with no fanservice or ecchi moments at all. |

Hell without ecchi or hentai, i most likely wouldnt watch anime at all. But yea its true there is a lot of good non ecchi animes.

Define cartoon.
If you mean American animation then I must disagree. Japanese animation and American animation differ on so many points that it would take me all night to list them all. Instead I'll focus on the main one; Japanese Animation is usually meant to run for one season while American animation that is made for TV (Cartoons) are designed to be re-run forever. In other words American cartoons don't have on-going story lines most of the time.

i disagree, in my opinion, MOST ecchi animes suck, due to lack of plot and and character development, and resulting in every episode being a random episode of ecchi stuff
Of course there are some ecchi animes that are really good and not all random
