If you are downloading the C++ thing make sure you use Internet Explorer and that you follow ALL of the instructions it gives you.

It does more than that, if you want I could fully explain what is does, but the explanation may be long and boring and doesn't really matter to you if you are an accountant.

i'm xtually really like the idea. if its not too much trouble to u, i hope u can xplain it more. even if its nothng related to accntng, but more or less it effect my job as a whole. its really good if i can understand what dis people r talking about. plus it wont hurt to learn it rite, i have to stop being an ignorance.

OK ill explain it. CMS is something that makes content managing more efficient and easier. Content could be anything, from a computer file to a picture. It helps web maintenance, designates work to users, takes note of all changes in content, and does a bunch of other stuff. Basically it is something that makes maintenance a hell lot easier. CMS is not a program made by a company, different companies make their own version of it (like how an OS isn't a software but Windows and Linux are)

ok... i think i got the basic picture of it. so can i assume that cms is using as a control tool of the website? meaning if somethng goes wrong it will alert the web maintenance? so how does xtually its operate? i mean does it like a system where u put all the information in it n operate it using script (like javascript maybe)?

Lesson 1
This only works with the c++ compiler
so here it is your first program, i will go over the meaning of it in lesson 2

1. go to file and under new press new project
2. Type "Hello World" as the name
3. click finish
4. Your new window should have some text written on it, delete ALL of it
5. type the following things verbatim, DO NOT copy and paste

#include "stdafx.h"
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;

int main()
{
cout << "Hello World!";
char a;
cin >> a;
return 0;
}

after doing the above, debug the program by clicking on the debug button.
If you have any errors it will probably be a typo. And if you still can't get it to work then copy and paste.

debugging isn't done manually, do you see the toolbar that shows the undo and redo buttons? (the two arrows)
a few buttons to the right there is a button that looks like the "play" button, click on it, it will debug your program. If that doesn't work copy and paste what you wrote onto this forum and I will take a look at it.

........That's what I did.

Am I using the right program?

What is "stdafx?"
C1083: Cannot open include file: 'stdafx': No such file or directory

I'm doing something wrong? *irritated*
