On occasion yes there are shonens like suzuka and 100% strawberry that are romantic, which I do like. But in most cases my definition of shonen is not romantic.

But in most cases my definition of shonen is not romantic. i like ichigo 100% myself but i dont find it at the level of suzuka.... suzuka is like a masterpiece while ichigo100% is one of the best... and yea... shounen = mostly not romance... i mean.. suzuka is more like a seinen manga than shounen... anyways go read D-ASH (its a seinen manga) if you like suzuka... i can say... its not as good as suzuka but its a good read... and its pretty romantic...
