Before I found out about streaming anime online, I used to buy all my anime. The ones that I watched the most were Love Hina and all 3 of the movies. I've seen each movie 3 times now.

Also I bought a disc that had all 3 Samurai X movies on it and saw them each twice

You ever get that good warm feeling after watching an anime and you say to yourself, "man that was a great anime, I gotta buy it!".

Elfen Lied, FMP (all 3 series), and I was lucky to get Speed Grapher and Please Twins at good prices (about $20 each set on E-bay. WhoHooo!). But only for the "real" goodies because this stuff is "real" expensive!

I'm not really the type that buys stuff I have already watched.....I consider that a waste of money. If I want it,I can usually d/l it & burn it to DVDs.

As for factory-issued DVDs,I used to get the ones carried in the Dollar stores. They were cheap like $3 or $4 each, and a good way to discover animes that I had not seen, and a cool source of slightly old-school stuff.

If I want big bunches of factory-issued stuff to watch, anime VHS lots on eBay are usually pretty decent deals, and house wonderful old-school assortments.
