Ghost Hound had a little romance at the end actually (just a little very subtle...but still). Good taste...I love that series.
I can't really imagine any romance in Natsume Yuugin Chou myself, if the mangaka can I'm fine with it ...maybe after a time skip.
Natsume has a subtle sensous reaction to everyone around him though, and that is romantic enough for me until he is older.

Yeah this anime is good but a little love is predictable and interesting like if some out there stuff happened to Nasume Like falling in love with a youkai I am not sure if it is going to happen but it mite and if it does I swear I did not know and put this as a spoiler

I doubt it will get any more "Ho Yay" than "Tactics. "(Which is a good series if you like that sort of muted, understated relationship betwixt men)

Yes, Taki would be good. I like her character, and Natsume needs a better connection with humans.
Or, perhaps a strange pseudo romance with a Youkai? That could be very interesting...

Wow....everyones so against romance in this anime o_o. I also like it the way it is, but maybe a bit romance could make it better ;P. Like maybe He could meet a girl that could also see Youkai's and maybe that girl would start helping him with all this Youkai stuff, and he could gradually fall in love with her xD. I dont think romance in this would be that bad....
