Shirube rolled her eyes and said "see ya" to the kid, then bolted off once the boy turned back into the cat. The tabby, back on her shoulder, commented cautiously,
"You know, Shinzo is serious when he says you should train."
"I know that, but I don't want to get involved in some big fight over a guy who was framed," Shirube spat, her body tensing in spite. "I will, however, help if they're in trouble. I wouldn't mind taking down that fowl snake." Shirube growled when she thought of the serpant, its huge eyes filled with hunger. "Other than that, I'll try to hide out." Sighing, the tabby wrapped itself around the back of her neck, not worried about falling off during the fast trek to the nearest town. I'm such a coward, she thought reluctantly, that's the only reason why I can run fast.

Kyle pondered over what Sango Shinzo said, Its true, I cannot sense auras. He looked at the retreating woman. She sure can run.. "My trump card huh?!" Kyle thought frowning. Three days? He felt this would be the biggest fight of his life. He sighed, his search for Esil was sidetracked but he couldnt turn his back on the fight now. He sat down on the hot scorching desert heat, "Yun." The horse rose from the ground, "Can you take me to Master Jin and back in three days?" The horse nodded, "Good," Kyle stood up and scanned the desert, both Shinzo and Silver were out of sight, "So be it." He muttered, getting on the horse. Kyle settled on Yun and the horse galloped forward at amazing speeds within minutes they were traveeling across the desert towards Azuriya..

Shirube sulked in her room in the inn, gloomily thinking about the fight that would happen in a matter of hours. The tabby was still with her, looking miffed at the girl's decision.
"You know, you're going to regret this if those boys get hurt by the bounty hunter," the cat said quietly. The vampire moaned on the bed, burrowing her face into the down pillow.
"Please don't remind me of that," she said pitifully, clutching the pillow tighter. "It's bad enough I caused those two stress, making them think I died," she finished glumly.
"Then right your mistakes and fight with them! That bounty hunter has a few tricks up his sleeve, and judging by his appearance he's from a tribe with dangerous skills and powerful items. He may use those to his advantage and slaughter them easily with that disgusting serpant of his," the cat spat the last three words in distate, making Shirube's spine twinge. Silence passed between them as the girl weighed the pros and cons unpleasantly in the pillow.
"You're not going to let me live this down if I skip, do you?" She muffled in the pillow. The tabby grinned.
"That's my duty," the cat said pleasantly. Shirube jerked her head to the cat and smirked. "Right," she yawned, leaping off the bed and brushing her hair back and tied it in place with a ribbon, slipping on her bracelets and drinking the beer she ordered for upstairs. The alcohol had no effect, unfortunately. Checking everything on her was in place along with her necklace, she hoisted up the things she had and walked out the door, leaving the money she owed at the counter. The cat followed and jumped to her usual place on her shoulder.
"I hate you," Shirube said once they were out of town, walking at a decent speed (for a vampire).
"I love you too," the cat replied happily.

Sango appeared on a rock near the path Shirube was walking on as she walked by. “Are you going to fight?”, Sango asked as he looked at Shirube. She jumped back in surprises when she saw Sango. “Sorry, I had some business to take care of…but I did learn more about that Clou guy”, he smirked and closed his eyes. In order to understand someone like him, you need to ask someone like him”, Shirube still looked confused. “I had to ask a bounty hunter…perhaps you’ve heard of him, his name is Brou, also known as ‘The Guillotine Reaper’”.

Shirube jumped back and nearly shreaked when she first heard Sango's voice. "Are you going to fight?" he asked, "sorry, I had some business to take care of...but I did learn more about that Clou guy." Shirube's brows furrowed, not knowing how he could have learned more about him. He continued, "In order to understand someone like him, you need to ask someone like him." Shirube thought quesiton marks appeared above her head but she didn't look up. "I had to ask a bounty hunter...perhaps you've hear od him, his name is Brou, also known as 'The Guillotine Reaper.'"
Shirube stared at him. Now it made sense. "I think, if I'm thinking of the right person, he had a case against one of my distant family members, one of the hybrids with too much human blood...anyway, I didn't know them or Brou directly, but I heard of the guy through rumors." She heard his eyes turned a vicious color when he fought. Sounded almost like her. "Anyway, what've you found out about this Clou guy?"
She was a bit nervous to hear the news and started chewing on her thumb nail, the claw sticking out barely.

Sango smirked at Shirube’s question. “His weakness is his strength…you’ll find out what I mean soon”. Sango said in a smart tone. He then turned in the direction of where he sensed Clou’s aura. “He’s coming…and fast, but fortunately, so is Kyle…”, Sango looked at Shirube and the cat on her shoulder. “If you still want to fight…follow me”, he said as he disappearsed kicking up sand and he ran so she could follow him.

Shirube growled and jumped angrily. She yelled in frustration,
"That's what I've been forced to do, DIMWIIIIT!!!"
"Gee, no need to point that out so obviously," the cat said, rolling its eyes. "You stay out of this. You convinced me anyways," Shirube spat, using her speed to catch up to Sango and fly past him to the area where the guys were supposed to meet. She dug in her heels and slowed enough to the point the was hopping on the ground and kneeled behind a rock, smelling the air and peering around. Sango already arrived half a second later but paid no attention to him when she picked up the bounty hunter's scent, not too far away.
"Be careful. He may be ready with tricks up his sleeve," the cat said quietly, looking in the same direction the girl smelled where he was. Now he was wearing a cloak. Why a cloak. "He's got the wind serpant with him as well," the cat commented. Shiube growled softly, the edges of her irises turning golden. Oh yeah, THIS'LL be fun, she thought to herself.

Sango closed his eyes to sense Clou’s aura, but instead, he sensed another aura. This aura made Sango open his eyes and fall back on the ground with pure fear. Shirube looked at him, with a confused look on her face. Sango was speechless for a minute, and when he finally spoke, he addressed the cat instead of Shirube. “D-Do you sense that?!”, the cat only nodded that it did, but Sango couldn’t tell if it was shaking or not because of his own body shaking. Sango spoke with pure fear in his voice, “He’s back…”

Shirube furrowed her brows in confusion and asked,
"Who's back? Saint Eve?" She felt the aura faintly, but it was one she didn't recognize. Sure she had been venturing to different places, but she would have recognized somebody's scent or aura in a matter of minutes. This one didn't ring a bell, but there was cold, murderous intent to it. The cat answered his question and its back hairs stood on end, a growling emitting from its throat.
"I thought the forces took care of him," the cat spat, baring its fangs. Shirube was even more confused. "Who?" she asked again, both to Sango and the cat.
"You don't want to know," the tabby answered.

Sango finally stood up and pulled himself together. “Why did you return now?”. Sango turned to Shirube, “The one that has returned is the one that slaughtered my clan and almost destroyed this world 10 years ago…I take it you remember that”. He looked in the direction of the aura. “I’ll explain more later…when Kyle is around, because even for those that can’t sense aura, they can defiantly feel that”.

She frowned and rubbed her head, even more confused. All she remembered when she was thirteen, ten years ago, she was still living in the mansion. What happened?
"Right..." she mumbled, looking at the tabby. Its back hairs were still on end and the pupils were slits. Gotta be something really dangerous, then, to get them to react like that, she thought worriedly, looking at them both and said nonchalantly, "so, then, once we take care of this bounty hunter guy, we'll get some powerful man to take care of this eeevil guy and make him pay for everyone's murders. Is that easy enough?" Sango looked at her like she was crazy and the tabby bowed its head in disgust.
"Idiot," the cat said disheartedly.

Sango closed his eyes. “I’ve seen this guy obliterate twenty armies at once by only raising his hand…that aura we just felt, wasn’t even 1% of his power”. He could tell she was surprised by that. Sango sighed and looked at her, “But don’t worry about him…hes still not at full power, so it will be awhile till he attacks anyone”. He tried to reassure her, but he could tell she was scared. “Listen…”, Shirube looked at Sango, “…If he does appear, I protect you and Kyle with my life…I promise, and I never break a promise”.

Her eyes bugged when he explained it. She paused for a minute before replying, "hasn't there been people who have been able to take this guy down? Like the rulers of the vampire or other races, or top assasins." She looked elsewhere to calm down a bit. Even though she sensed he was strong, he still smelled like a human. Fragile. "I'm sure, that if he were to show up to attack, I don't...think you can just take him on your own. Nobody's invincible on their own," she finished guiltily. "I'll fight when I need to." The tabby glared at her when she said that and spat something she couldn't hear. The cat knew she was frightened, and also maybe it doubted Shirube couldn't take on the villain.

Sango looked at Shirube with concern. “He is not of this realm, he has no form, no name, his only purpose is to destroy the world…he can’t be killed, because is not alive, nor is he dead, he is a piece of the pure darkness…and the only thing that can destroy him is pure light”. He could see she was still scared. “I don’t want you to get involved with him…he is the only one that can kill immortals, so if he appears, run as fast as you can…I’ll fight him alone, but don’t worry, these bandages on my body aren’t for show, nor do they cover wounds…they are to suppress my aura”. Sango gave her a reassuring smile, and she began to calm down.

Shirube smiled faintly back, but, remembering Stephen, replied grimly, "I bet he's not the only one who can kill immortals." The tabby lowered its head. "He won't be coming for a while, so be on guard," it whispered. She sighed and rolled her neck. "Right, so light against dark...and there are how many other powerful beings with that kind of power?" she said sarcatically to help calm down. "Though if what you say is true, that you can take him on, I'd like to see that kind of power. The power of light." Sitting down, she curled up her knees to her chest, resting her forearms on them and then her head, looking at the ground surrounding her.
