Kyle observed from his position on the ground that despite his built the druid handeled himself very gracefully on the battlefield. But a four on one was a handicap. The phonix drew back its head and a gush of fire erupted from its mouth. The druid dodged it, thought it did singe his arms. The dragon lifted its tail and brought it thundreing down on the ground, shock waves flowed through the ground, the druid jumped to avoid it, it was what the dragon wanted, opening its mouth it let out a hurricane. The druid was thrown back towards the ground. The turtle was waiting for him, the wave of water the turtle had summoned came crashing down on him. Kyle, on the ground unable to move, waited to see what the druid would do next.

"This could be a long battle." Yun from underground spoke up. Kyle stayed silent. Then he said, "Jano." The dog came upperground and taking a deep breath expelled a a steady flow of green fire, the second hottest form of fire existing in the world. The vines whithered away. He raised his arms and shouted "Thats enough." The animals immediately ceased fighting and stood still for their next order. He strode over to the druid and said,"Troll, do you mock me?" The druide lifted one eyebrow in a quizzical manner. Kyle had seen in that cave, the druid had looked completely different as if he had enjoyed killing, a berserker. Now the druid was fighting as a warrior and Kyle realised that in this form, he had no grudge against Clou. "A killing machine or an honourable opponent, what are you?" Kyle asked. But it was not a question, Clou looked confused, "What Master is trying to say is..." Yun said rising fromt the ground, "You are a different man that he's fighting, one he does not wish to get even with." Kyle looked at Yun, he was looking at the druid before him with respect. Never in his life had anyone lasted this long before the four legendary creatures.

Kyle looked at him unfazed, he nodded to the animals and they moved aside, "You have a troll brain so you probablly dont know the way of the croniel summoner." Kyle said slowly, moving forward to meet the druid. "I dont hide behind my pets, they feed on my mana and they materialise. What you face is my mana taken on the form of the spirit that feeds on it. But I guess it must be too much information to handle by the dumbest creature on the earth. " Kyle said. He looked at the druid fearlessly, "But if you want druid I can fight you in my full form. But I dont want this half assed fight from you that I saw earlier. It makes you look pathetic. There is no point in me fighting you if that person is who I will fight." Kyle looked at him waiting for his answer.

The boy looked mad at Sango, seeing him leave after he suggested him being a shikigami. He huffed and spat at the ground in rage. Yeah right like I'd be one of those death-dawdling dogs, he thought in furor. Shirube moaned and twisted in her sleep. "Ah, damn..." he whispered, putting his hand inside the girl's head, supressing the memories. why did Shinzo have to go? He can't fight it by himself, he thought sadly, then glared at the two fighting. And why are THESE assholes fighting?? For the sake of honor? There's a lot more at stake than petty things like that, the boy thought to himself bitterly. Looking at the horizon he focused on Sango racing on to the thing, sword in hand and ready to fight. Damn. Idiot, the boy swore to himself, then proceeded swearing in multiple languages, thrashing like a child in a fit. Then he paid attention to the two who had finally stopped fighting, the bounty hunter carrying the boy to the wind serpant and a girl who was tending to their wounds. "Fools..." he whispered, withdrawing his hand from the girl's head after she had calmed and waved it in the air, summoning water to land quietly in the sand, forming a small, sparkling clear pond near them. Then he placed plants over the slumbering vampire, surprisingly passed out, and looked back in the direction of Sango. "You had better know what you're dealing with, Shinzo," he muttered, the man now facing off with the thing.

Kyle woke up a while later to see a young girl's face peering into his own. "Urgh." He sad, he ached all over.
"Dont move." The girl said, "You will feel better after you take this medicine." she made him drink something from a cup.
Kyle drank it and gagged, it tasted horrible. After a while, he did start feeling better and sat up. His sherei stood patiently by his side, Leaning aginst Toki, he stood up. "Did you heal me?" He asked the girl. She nodded, colouring a little. "Then I owe you my life-?" He waited for her name. "Ryel." She said. "Ryel." Kyle repeated, bowing his head to the girl.
"Um Clou brought you over.." Her voice trailed off uncertainly. Kyle looked at the big druid, lounging against a rock, his eyes closed. "Troll." He called and the druid's eyes snapped open, he glared at Kyle. "I thought we had an agreement." He glowered.
Kyle rubbed the back of his neck then nodded, "We did and since you won fair and square..." He shrugged and smiled ruefully, "Clou."

Heccate found the scene appearing to like desert. Great. She'd never been here and never desired to be here. But she was. She looked around and spotted three men walking together. They didn't even notice her. She went up to them and tried to touch one, but her fingers went right through him.
She stared for a moment. Oh. Right. The demetion. May as well have called it a void or something. She couldn't interact with anything in Sadoyus or probably not anywhere else. If she could accomplish getting anywhere else. How was this supposed to help her? This was exactly the opposite of what she needed.
Heccate sighed and walked around. She supposed she could spy... but that would get old. What the hell was she supposed to accomplish here? Like this even? She couldn't even kick at the sand. It was like she was in her own little place.
She walked for awhile, wondering what it could be she was supposed to do here. The sand and the glaring sun was annoying. There was nothing but sand. Sand here, sand there. Sand, sand, sand. Where was the city? Wasn't there supposed to be one here? Somewhere?
Heccate stared at the distant mountains. It was the only thing to look at through the acres and acres of just golden stinkin' sand. She also saw that the sun was going down. She couldn't tell if that was happening in the demention or in Sadoyus.
Heccate smiled, What would the little sorceress think?

Nauz stared at the scene before her. She waited for it to turn into something else. Except that it wasn't.
Monsterous anger swelled up in her, "What the hell am I doing in Sadoyus?!"
Nauz breathed hard, shaking slightly. The first thing that came to mind was Heccate. Nauz was deciding to call her by her given name since it was an insult to her to call the spirit by her own name.
Nauz grinded her teeth, looking around the dark desert. Something was different. She could sense it.
But still she was angry. She walked around until she came by a cave. A woman came out of it, humming. Nauz ran after her.
"Hey! I need your help," Nauz said.
But the woman didn't aknowledge her. Nauz went to tap the woman's shoulder and her fingers went right through her. Nauz's lips parted. No. Way. Noway. Heccate did not.
Nauz screamed in rage and frustration. What the hell now?
She kicked out at a lonely rock, except that it obviously went nowhere. Nauz's foot went right through it. At least she knew it wasn't in the demention. And at least she was in the Sadoyus demention rather than any of the others.
Nauz stayed aware, expecting a demention creature to pounce on her. They could be anything anywhere.
How could Heccate be so stupid? No one could be as stupid as to go into the queen's Royal Garden without her. No one. Except for, of course, Heccate. There was all kinds of traps and shapeshifters and creatures inside the gardens. The most dangerous and affective was the dementions. Anyone was only lucky to be put in Sadoyus. Nauz only wondered what the task was.
She walked for awhile under the stars. Whatever it was, Heccate had to get them out. Nauz could do nothing to help. The task was Heccate's.
Nauz sighed sat by a large rock. At least no one ever gets hungry in the dementions. And only a stupid person would dare to go to sleep. But of course Heccate would probably do just that.

The boy sighed and stood up, looking mentally to where Sango was. He sighed again and slapped the air at Shirube, waking her up roughly. "We have to go," he said, grabbing her hand and raising his other hand in the air, transporting them in the area where Sango and the entity were.

The girl slowly came into view, at first a little blur, then dug in her heels into the sand, skidding to a halt a few feet from the bounty hunter's group, the snake clearly visible. Her chest heaved up and down harsly, the hot air burning down her throat and into her lungs. Leaning over, she slid Sango onto the sand, blood slowly trickling onto the ground. The little boy jumped off and knelt down beside Sango, laying him out straight and placed his hands inside Sango's head, the skin shimmering where it met Sango's. Silver slumped, looking to where the group was. "You...must be...a doctor...right?" she huffed, then slumped to her knees.
"Like she said, you got a doctor?" the boy asked, half-paying attention to them and half-paying attention on fixing up Sango's soul before he ended up disappearing. "We're in a bit of trouble, especially since we just got back from the other country." To prove his point, Silver lay on the ground, still huffing from over exerting.

Shirube looked grimly to the ground, hugging her knees. "You know who," the boy spoke, glaring at the bounty hunter. "The one that killed Sango's clan and the one that sent that powerful aura into the sky recently. He's been gaining power quickly through killing, and he nearly finished off Sango. I had to make Silver and I undetectable in order to rescue him, but even then I'm sure he would have detected us rescuing him. And I had to make her run beyond her limits. She's only half-human, you know." "Hey!" she gasped, hugging her knees in embarassment. "I did the best I could," she spat, "but it's not like I'm one of those full-blooded brats who can do as they please." "Beside the point," the boy interrupted, placing his hands back inside Sango's head. "I've almost put back together the pieces of his soul from the attack from the dark one, but it's pretty much up to him to mend it back together and come back." The little boy looked at Sango with disappointment. "Idiot," he muttered.

Kyle woke to Jano licking his face. He sat up groggily and saw, to his astonishment Sango sprawled on the ground severly injured while everyone bent over him. "What happened?" He asked his sherei. "We are not sure." Toki said, "But he seems to have been injured by the evil aura that we felt yesterday." Kyle sat up and winced, the technique he had used yesterday made him vulnerable, after it wore off he was not in control of his aura for a while after. I cant heal myself. Kyle sighed. His hand touched a solid object, It was his sword. Kyle looked down at it, it was useless in his hands without the power of the four animals. He was no swordsman.Kyle looked at Sango's injuries and realised that the man hadnt been exaggerating the strength of the evil aura. Kyle looked at his sherei. I need more, they are not enough to fight. Kyle thought, standing up and walking to the group. "Shinzo seems to have his hands full." He said quietly, "The man that he needs to avenge is no pushover."
"Not only that." The boy said, looking up at Kyle, "That evil man wishes to destroy the world."
Kyle looked at the boy, flabbergasted, "Destroy the world? What will he accomplish with that?" The boy shrugged.
Kyle exhaled in annoyance, it looked like the search for Esil would have to be postponed again. He turned to leave, "Where are you going?" Silver demanded.
"Ill be back by nighttime." Kyle said, getting up on Yun. "Im going on a hunt." And with that he galloped away into the desert.

Nauz hated dementions. The sun was taking its bloody time getting over the horizon. And on top of that, she had to fight six demention creatures.
Nauz slipped to the ground, out of breath. Those were nothing compared to the more dangerous ones out there. In here. Whatever.
Nauz stood when she had her breathing under control and went to look around in a big cave. Some desert creatures were in there... what were they again? Desert wolves? Sand-skippers? Nauz couldn't remember.
Their eyes stayed on her and for a moment, she thought they were in the demention. They weren't in the demention. Most creatures can sense others trapped in the demention. Some of them can see that person. But absolutely no beings could see the person in the demention. It was rare for someone to sense them, but not see them.
Nauz backed out, not wanting to disturb them.
It had been awhile until she realized she was being followed. She turned to see one of the desert wolves trotting after her. She looked at it oddly for moment, wondering why it chose to follow her.
It sat down right in front of her and looked up at her expectantly.
Nauz scanned the desert around her, making sure there was no one around. Then she crouched down level to the desert wolf.
It had sandy fur that constantly poured bits of sand and tawny eyes. It also had three tails. They could make sand storms and quick sand and anything else having to do with sand.
"Go back home," Nauz said firmly. But to the sand wolf, she was speaking his language.
It was a trick Master had taught her.
The sand wolf barked twiced.
Nauz rolled her eyes at the refusal, "Why follow me? I am stuck in a demention."
It smiled. Mischief sparkled in its eyes. Nauz stood and shrugged. The sun was coming up anyway.
Then she looked down at the sand wolf, "Out of curiosity, is it daytime in Sadoyus?"
The wolf nodded.
Nauz laughed a little as she looked back at the sun.

Heccate looked around. A cave not to far off and a sand wolf sitting at her feet. Heccate looked down at herself and noticed long, deep cuts and nasty bruises. She was really starting to get frustrated with the little sorceress not taking care of her body.
The sand wolf barked for her attention. She looked down at it. Was she out of the demention?
Heccate crouched and reached out to touch it, but her fingers went right through its head. It barked, annoyed. Heccate sighed heavily. She was still stuck. But the sand wolf seeing her meant that only some creatures or beings could see her.
Heccate smiled, standing.
She walked about a bit, the sand wolf following.

Kyle galloped through the desert, keeping his eyes sharp for any creature that interested him. Lending his mana as food for the legendary animals meant that he could spare his remaining mana for only five youma at a time. He had to be careful while choosing his sherei and make sure they all complemented each other. He saw alot of animals but none interested him. Suddenly he saw a large desert tiger. It stood at fifteen feet and it was hunting a smaller animal. Kyle stood still and watched him. The tiger was very fast and when it clapped its paws together, lightning was created. The tiger suceeded in catching its prey and sat down to eat. Kyle let the animal finish its meal, then walked over to him. The tiger looked at him, his gaze intense. As Kyle walked nearer, the tiger stood up, ready for attack. Kyle kept his eyes on the tiger's, not breaking contact. Then he started the ritual. He spoke the names of the twelve nimals of the chinese zodiac, drawing their respective symbols in the air. The names and symbols formed a magic circle around the tiger and stilled him. "Submit to me." Kyle yelled and as par ritual, the animal's name flashed in his mind, "Doron." The tiger roared, and Kyle was momentarily stunned. When he could move again, he smiled, pleased. A useful power.. He thought, his eyes still on the tiger's. If he broke eye contact, the circle would break and the tiger would easily kill him. It was all a matter of who tired first. Kyle's back was drenched with sweat but he didnt break the eye contact, the tiger was struggling uselessly against the circle, his eyes furious as he stared back at Kyle. minutes passed, then hours. He wasnt sure how much time passed, but the sky had started darkening. Suddenly the tiger bowed, his head touching the ground. The tiger had submitted and a contract had formed between these two. For Kyle's mana as food the tiger promised unbreakable loyalty in return. "Master." the tiger whispered.
**************************

Kyle was travelling back with his newly acquired sherei when he saw the desert wolf. It was small too small to arouse Kyle's interest but Kyle stopped nevertheless. "Is something strange about that wolf?" Kyle asked his sherei.
"Its in another dimension." Doron said.
"No wonder." Kyle said, "It looks faded." He turned Yun towards the direction where he came from when he saw the woman as well. He stopped his mouth dropping slightly, the next instant she was gone. "Did you see that?" Kyle asked the animals. "She seems to be travelling dimensions." Jano said. "But how?" Kyle muttered.

"I hate this place," Heccate muttered.
She almost didn't notice the man and the tiger looking at her. She rolled her eyes, they were probably looking at the sand wolf. No one could see her. She continued, thinking hard about how she was going to get out of this mess.
"The queen said this was to help me... but how? In what way am I being helped?" Heccate murmered to herself.
The sand wolf barked. Heccate stopped and looked down at it. She wondered if she could do magic and spells in the demention. Or outside it.
She crouched in front of it, "Gift of speaking."
She waited and then the sand wolf spoke, "Thank you miss. It's quite hard speaking in this form. As you see, I am in an alternate plane which allows me to travel in diferent dementions. I am not truely a sand wolf."
"Ahhh, how nice. How do I get out?" Heccate asked.
"What is your task?"
"The queen put me in here to help me."
"Are you sure it was the queen?"
Heccate stared at the sand wolf, "Who else could it have been?"
"Depends," the sand wolf said, "what queen was it?"
"Furen's."
The sand wolf laughed aloud, "You are truely foolish, miss. What being in their right mind would ever dare to go into the queen's gardens without the queen herself?" He laughed again.
Heccate stood, frowning. Then she looked out into the distance at the pyramids.
"I want to there," Heccate said.
"Veeery dangerous, miss. Lots of curses and ruins... and demention creatures. Powerful ones," the sand wolf said.
"Fine with me."
Heccate started her trek, the sand wolf following.
Heccate stopped, feeling something. It was like a tingling sensation. She turned, scanning the area behind her. Nothing of interest. She looked out to her sides. Nothing.
"Remember, miss, nothing is ever what it seems in dementions," the sand wolf warned.
"Another reason to hate it," Heccate breathed.
Just then a cactus turned into something else. It lashed out at her and she fell back just in time. The cactus was a walking one now. With red eyes and rows of jagged sharp teeth.
"Also, miss, any creature in the demention does not truely exist. It's just a twist. A mixture. Sort of like an alternate time or plane," the sand wolf said to her.
"Thanks for the information on that, wolf, but how do you slay this thorny beast?" Heccate asked, paniccing.
The cactus-monster roared and stumbled toward her.
"Not sure," the sand wolf said.
"Not sure, are you?" Heccate cried, getting up and running.
She hoped somehow she'd loose this creature.

Kyle watched the wolf running, he jumped off Yun and slowly walked behind the wolf, observing. He caught short glimpses of the woman also running. "Doron." Kyle said and the sand tiger came forward. "Can the dimension be broken?"
The Sand tiger thought for a moment then nodded slowly, "But it is a very strong magic." Doron said, "The dimensions are held in a delicate balance by time, only the strongest magic users can break them." Again Kyle caught a very small glimpse of the woman. "Maybe what everyone calls a mirage of a desert is really a glimpse of a different dimension." Kyle said thoughtfully.
"Sometimes." Doron said, "Someone can also get caught in a different dimension by accident. Muck like quicksand."
"Is it as fatal?" Kyle asked. the tiger nodded, "The dimension rejects the entry and treats it as an intruder. Eventually, the being is erased from the new dimension. This phenomenon occurs quite frequently in the desert."
Kyle looked up and saw the woman again. He made up his mind, he ran towards Yun climbed the beast and went galloping back to where everone was waiting. They looked up when he arived, Sango was still outcold. But his colour looked better.
"How was the hunt?" Clou asked but Kyle didnt bother replying, instead he went straight to the boy and grabbed the front of his shirt. "I need your help." Kyle said, before the boy could reply, Kyle dumped him on top of Yun, hoisted himself up and was galloping back to where he had seen the wolf. On the way he explained to the boy what he had seen.
"Think you can break the dimension?" Kyle asked the boy.

"Heyyyy!!! What do I look like, some freakin' god?!" the boy spat in anger at Kyle, protesting at him taking him away suddenly. "Besides, even if I did do it, I might make a mistake and send most of this desert into the abyss!!" He huffed, turning red from his anger and glaring at the boy. When he looked out into the open and saw the sand wolf and the woman--probably a wizard of some sort--fading in and out as they ran, he looked skeptical at Kyle and the animals.
"You...actually want to follow them." The boy blinked at Kyle and stomped his feet and yelled, "are you crazy?! You might be lost forever in between dimensions just for following some old hag!"

Shirube glanced at Clou--she learned his name from Ryel the doctor--after he shifted into his falcon form and left due to the fit he had.
"Ermmm...I guess I'll feed for now," she mumbled, walking over to the wind serpant quietly, so as not to disturb the doctor in progress, and bowed courteously to the wind serpant. "Thank you for that effort, even if you did not want to do it for the likes of me," she whispered, the wind serpant mumbling a no problem. Flitting to the creature, she grabbed a hold of its neck and apologized, feeling it struggle in fear under her grasp. Pinning it to the ground, she forced out her fangs and fed carefully but quickly on the animal's throat so it would not suffer. It twinged as she did so, then spasmed, blood trickling down the skin. She coughed after several minutes of drinking it, wiping her mouth on the underside of her sleeve so the girl wouldn't see it and trudged back, fighting against the thought of actually killing it. But she couldn't help it. It was what she had to do.
Sitting near Sango and across from the girl, she looked down at the still man, the life still barely there, but alive nonetheless.
"Is there anthing I can do?" she asked Ryel quietly, hugging her knees and focusing on Sango.
