I am trying to do a skirt in Imageready and everytime i try uploading it on here, it says i need to add transparency...how do i add it?

first u erase the background which is probably white. and in imageready after u erase it it should have gray and white blocks. then u save it as .PNG file of .GIF file

PNG has better quality

Is it possible to erase the background using Imageready? And do you know any other programs that you can use to make CR Land Designs with a transparent background that you DON'T have to dl? Thanks

use the magic wand tool and select the background

I use Irfan View. It's a free program and all I have to do is make the item in Paint, open it in Irfan view, save as a transparent image, click the background image, and it's done.

This is how I do it... It's all free...

1. Get your image and color the sides a weird random color.
Like this:

2. Download this [http://www.brothersoft.com/giffy-16084.html]. It's not very nice, but it works PERFECTLY. You can also do interlaced images on it (whatever that is).

3. MAKE SURE you saved your item (like the one on Step 1) as a BMP so it can work.

4. Now "Load BMP", and look at "GIF Options". Check transparent, pick your weird random color (like the Step 1 purple), and select "Save GIF". CONGRATS, you got a transparent image!!

I got the transparent item now, BuT, when I upload the item, it doesn't automatically equipped. What I mean is, When I upload the item, say a hat, it just appear , that hat. The background avator not included. So, I and other people can't see how that item fit on the avator. How do you do the item able to equipped on the selected avator????
