Lol, Abyss has a more refined battle system.. But if you're talking about Symphonia 2, then that's a different story...

Symphonia is still my favorite, I didn't like the free movement thing as much as I liked the 2d in 3d thing. Although, Vesperia is looking pretty sweet...and on Thursday I get to play the demo WOOT.

haha.. But I think most 'Tales of' game will now have a free roaming battle[besides Heart].. Im currently not to thrilled with Symphonia 2 since it'll be coming out on Wii.. I hope it will at least be ported to PS3... Besides Blazblue and Disgaea 3, the line up for PS3 isn't all that thrilling.... Also, is Tales of Vesperia XBox\360 exclusive? Might as well say farewell to Vesperia also...

I got a Wii so I'm hella pumped for Symphonia 2, but not as much as I am for Vesperia because it comes out sooner (I get it in 2 weeks) Tales of Vesperia as of now has no plans to release on the PS3, and even if it does it may not be seen outside of Japan. Like Namco does for a lot of RPG's.

Nobodys ditching Sony, they were never with Sony :P. Namco, and the Tales series, started out on Nintendo consoles, with the game Tales of Phantasia for the Super Famicom.

Tales of Vesperia is coming out on 360 because it was aviliable first, thats it lol.

Its a common misconception to believe companies had loyalties to Sony to begin with. Here is what went down. The N64 did not use CD's so while more powerful then a PS1 you could not hold as much content so for a RPG to be a RPG you had to put it on the Playstation. The sheer popularity of the PS2 is why it got so many RPG's, and games in general. Over 120 million people own Playstation 2's, so it was the obvious choice to stick your games on. Now, with the PS3, development for the system is difficult, its the least selling system ever, and RPG's have already been proven on its closest competitor, and the Wii is just selling in mass numbers. In other words, its now safer to release a game on the Wii or 360 then it is the PS3, seeing as to how its sold the least, and the best selling game for the console, its blockbuster hit, doesn't even match half of the sales of the 360's best selling game.

Lol, but what I mean is that the PS3 was left in the dark while other consoles get great RPG... They could at least port those RPGs over to PS3... Well, it's not that im fond of the PS3, its just that we'll be losing our 360 before sem break so its sayonara to good RPGs for me...

Edit: Also, i've hated N64 which carried over to GC then carried over to Wii... Its just a series of illogical hate...

You will not get a port of Symphonia 2 lol, but Vesperia and other RPG's (some at least) are possible. But only when its profitable. Porting to the PS3 isn't easy because of its architecture.

But, what are the chances of the? i say its slim to none... Come on, its Namco we're talking about here.. They should follow Atlus and port games like crazy... Well, its tough luck for me, then...
