Azureus/ZUEDO - http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ ZUEDO (3.0) for beginners as it has the simple interface. and 2.5 for the intermediate torrent users. (old interface only.)

Utorrent - http://www.utorrent.com/download.php - For total beginners.

I personally use Azureus for the customization, etc.

uTorrent and Azureus have their strengths and weaknesses. On Windows I use uTorrent because I don't like how much processing power/RAM it takes to run Azureus. For being feature-rich and tweakable Azureus has no competitor.

on Mac I've switched back to Transmission now that development has started again and all the issues that caused it to be banned have been fixed.

If you have a shitty computer !!DONT DOWNLOAD TORRENTS!!!
It will most definitely mess up your cpu.
Also if your system is unable to remain invisible. You will be sued (possibly if downloading a game) (how do I know cause a friend of mine just got the notice that he was getting sued yesterday)

(if you think that vista will save you then your dumber then a rodent)
