I totally disagree with the dubbing of gintama I've been whitness of shows being downgraded due to the dubs.the only animes that were good dubbed were the old school animes like DBZ,kenshin,Gundam and outlaw star etc.

You know if you say dub on teh internets, a bunch of wee-a-boos would come along and say "Dub Sux! Jerpanses furevar!!11!" Because the internet is 98% wee-a-boo, while the rest is just angsty teenagers and old guys watching pr0n.

i believe DVD's have dual audio, so whats the problem? no point crying over spilt milk.
no ones forcing anyone to listen to the english dub.

Fuck dubs would suck. They would need a good ass voice actor for gintoki or it would fail to the extreme

Things are dubbed after they are licensed and the company sell the dub rights to companies (for example: 4kids *shivers*, Viz media (they are semibad/good) or funimaton (would prefer them)).
The manga is licensed by viz media but not the anime (the anime is broudcasted on mtv in Italy, though) and I think it will take a while until a show that lies so near the line of being sued like gintama to be licensed.
Still dubs have at times been good and almost better then the original, Trigun, Fma and Hellsing for example.

it's true that some anime like fma and flcl's dubbing are pretty good. But seriously, IMO gintama's voice acting is one of a kind....it'll be disastrous of they attempt to copy it....so maybe they'll just have to dub it differently instead if they ever do?

This anime would probably fail dubbed because of all those jokes only people from japan would understand, like the Ketsura Ana thing.
